2.    Introduction:

The major about accounting has the longest history in PEIHUA. Since the foundation of PEIHUA, there is the major accounting specialized in Business. Later in 1945, the former PEIHUA, PEIHUA vocational college began to run the senior Accounting subject as an upgrade of the major accounting. Since PEIHUA financial college renamed after the PEIHUA vocational college，organized many specific majors, such as Industrial Accounting, Commercial Accounting and Budget Accounting in 1951. In 1984, PEIHUA women’s college, a new name after PEIHUA financial college, set up the industrial accounting major for junior college student. After the promotion of PEIHUA university from the former junior college in 2003, PEIHUA has established the management faculty. Based on the abundant education resources and experience of the accounting major, the financial management major was set up complementarily. This major became the subsequent School of Economic Management and accounting, which was renamed School of accounting in 2013. In comparison with the similar colleges and universities, PEIHUA obtained the permission to authorize a bachelor’s degree of management firstly in 2007. Currently the accounting faculty contains three majors for bachelor student, accounting, financial management and auditing, and two majors for junior college student, accounting and financial management.

4.    Achievements:

(1) In 2007 the accounting major for junior college was approved as one of the construction projects “the provincial key major for higher vocational and normal college education”, as well as the financial management major for junior college under the same project in 2008;

(2) In 2009 and 2010 the accounting major for bachelor’s degree was approved as one of the construction projects “the provincial featured major” and “provincial most intensive supported major”;

(3) In 2011 the teaching team for Practical accounting course was approved as “provincial teaching team”;

(4) In 2012 the accounting major was approved as one of the construction projects “provincial comprehensive reform pilot major”; in the same year the center of experimental teaching was been approved as “provincial demonstrative center of experimental teaching”;

(5) In 2013 the course accounting basis was approved as “provincial elaborate resource sharing course”;

(6) In 2015 the course coast accounting was approved as “provincial elaborate resource sharing course”

(7) In 2016 the accounting major for bachelor’s degree was approved as one of the construction projects “provincial elite major”.
