Recently, Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education announced the list of the project approval of the Shaanxi Provincial University Engineering Research Center in 2022. After the selection and recommendation of colleges and universities, the formal review of the Provincial Department of Education, the pre-evaluation publicity, the expert review and the review of the office board, the biological safety defense equipment declared by Professor Liu Yi of the Medical College of Xi’ an Peihua University was approved for the project approval of the Shaanxi Provincial University Engineering Research Center, which has achieved a breakthrough of the university on the provincial platform!

In response to the national strategy of biosafety, Shaanxi University Engineering Research Center (hereinafter referred to as the “Center”), together with Xi’ an Fukang Air Purification Equipment Engineering Co., LTD., has carried out research and equipment development on biosafety defense related technologies.

The center closely focuses on the current technical weaknesses and market gaps in the field of biosafety defense, and carries out its work from three directions: research on innovative sterilization technology such as pulsed xenon light, engineering application research on ventilation and transmission disinfection equipment, and research on high-level dynamic sterilization effect evaluation technology, striving to produce a batch of new technologies, new equipment and new programs for biosafety defense, to solve the problem of biosafety prevention of pathogen testing, vaccine production, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases and other facilities. The establishment of the center conforms to the national security strategy, supports the key industrial chain of our province, and will produce huge social benefits while creating economic benefits.
