On the afternoon of September 10th, Xi’an PeihuaUniversityheld the 2024 Teachers’Day Celebration and Commendation Conference in the Lecture Hall of the Weizhi Library. More than 500 people, including alluniversityleaders, heads of schools (departments) and centers, award-winning representatives of national teaching competitions, provincial teaching competitions, counselors’professional skills competitions, outstanding teachers, exemplary individual, winners of outstanding scientific research achievements in the 2023-2024 academic year, as well as teachers representatives and student representatives, attended the conference. Dr. Jiang Bo,chairmanof the university, attended the conference and delivered a speech. The conferencewashosted by teachers Gan Huijie and Liu Liying from the School of Media and Design.

Ms. Jin Shanshan, the second prize winner of the 6th Shaanxi University Youth Teacher Teaching Competition in 2024 and the first prize winner of the 2023“Future Designer”National Art and Design Teaching Innovation Competition, expressed her gratitude to the university leaders and colleagues for their support. She shared her growth experience at Xi’an Peihua University and proposed the roles and responsibilities that teachers should undertake in the new era. She stated that as a teacher, one should achieve four points: love and dedicateto their job, study hard, be brave in innovation, be in different to fame and fortune, continuously improvingtheir teaching and research level, and contributing to the growth of students and the development of the university!
Huang Jing,National College Student Self-improvement Star,recipient of national scholarship, president of the student union, and a student from the School of Accounting and Finance, spoke as a student representative. She expressed greetings and respect to the teachers on behalf of all Peihua youth, thanking them for their guidance and inspiration. She promised that as a young generation, she will work hard to learn and become a good young person in the new era who has ideals, dares to take responsibility, can endure hardships, and is willing to strive!

Chairman Jiang Bo, on behalf of the university, extended festive greetings and high respect to all teachers. He expressed deep gratitude to the teachers for adhering to the original intention of education, striving hard, and making significant contributions to the development of theuniversity. Chairman Jiang Bo emphasized that all teachers in the university should take the role models around them as learning objects, use advanced models as benchmarks, carry forward the spirit of“daring to explore and try”, maintain the fighting spirit of“striving for excellence”, constantly emancipate their minds, and be brave in innovation. He called on teachers to unite as one, pool their wisdom and efforts, and walk together in the same direction, sounding a new horn for Peihua to move towards a hundred years and steadily promoting the high-quality development of the university!
