【Employment Promotion】Xi’an Peihua University Holds National Joint Urban Recruitment Spring Special Job Fair

Spring in Changan Brings Opportunities; Talents Gather at Peihua. On March 20, the Thriving Career in Shaanxi, Employment in the Sanqin Region, Careers Guided Towards the Future National Joint Urban Recruitment Spring Special Job Fair for College Graduates, hosted by the Shaanxi Provincial Talent Exchange Service Center and organized by Xian Peihua University, concluded successfully at the West Square of the Comprehensive Building on the Changan Campus.

The event brought together 90 high-quality recruiting companies, offering 1,819 positions across various sectors, including law firms, education and training, software and information technology services, scientific research and technology services, and more. The event attracted 1,256 graduates to the site, with over 760 resumes submitted, 152 individuals initially reaching employment intentions, and more than 230 people receiving career guidance services.

To enhance service quality and efficiency, the university set up four dedicated zones on-site: Resume Guidance, Policy Consultation, International Programs, and Enterprise Engagement. Experienced career advisors were invited to provide one-stop services such as resume polishing and career planning. Meanwhile, a long-term communication bridge between the university and enterprises was established to help build stable talent supply channels.

During the job fair, leaders from the China Xian Talent Market Management Committee Office (Shaanxi Provincial Talent Exchange Service Center) visited the site. Yao Wenjing, Vice President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Xian Peihua University, along with Bao Wei, Assistant to the President and Dean of the Future Industries Institute, engaged in in-depth exchanges, gaining detailed insights into talent demands and listening to employers opinions and suggestions on university talent cultivation. It laid the foundation for deepening university-enterprise cooperation and optimizing talent supply.

Facing the new employment landscape for the class of 2026, Xian Peihua University has adopted a start with a sprint approach, pressing the fast-forward button on employment efforts. Through a four-pronged drive of enterprise engagement, targeted services, employment-oriented education, and targeted assistance for disadvantaged students, the university is going all out to build a fast track to employment for its graduates.

Enterprise Engagement: Tapping Resources to Expand the Employment Reservoir.” University leaders led teams, with functional departments and secondary schools working in coordination, to conduct enterprise engagement visits to key companies such as Midea Group, Hongqiao Furniture, and BYD Co., Ltd. Since September 2025, a total of over 130 organizations have been visited, making every effort to broaden employment channels for graduates.

Targeted Services: Empowering with Digital Intelligence to Build a “High-Speed Connection.” A comprehensive “online + offline” recruitment system has been established, leveraging national and provincial employment platforms. Small-scale specialized job fairs are held weekly, while large-scale dual-selection job fairs are organized monthly, making job information readily accessible. A “major-to-position precise promotion group” has been set up to enable intelligent matching between talent and positions. Relying on the Career Planning Functional Pavilion, which features nine functional zones including resume guidance, service station areas, and AI mock interviews, one-stop employment assistance is provided to make job hunting more efficient.

Employment-Oriented Education: Enhancing Skills Through Competitions to Forge “Solid Abilities” for Job Seeking. Career education is promoted throughout the four years of university, with practical courses such as resume writing, interview skills, and workplace etiquette offered to build a solid foundation for employment in advance. Students are organized to participate in the Shaanxi Provincial Career Planning Competition and the “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, achieving outstanding results and strengthening their skills through competition. For students pursuing graduate studies, a re-examination guidance team has been established to provide services such as mock interviews and admission adjustment information, achieving a dual focus on both further education and employment.
