To help freshmen better adapt to college life and improve their comprehensive quality, the School of Humanities and International Education held a series of freshman education activities with the theme of "The Connotation and Extension of China Embracing Innovation Theory" in the gymnasium on September 18th. This event aims to guide students to develop a global perspective, stimulate innovative potential, and lay a solid foundation for future international development.

Prof. Richard Li-Hua, the International President of Xi’an Peihua University started the " Cambridge China Embracing Innovation Forum " which he had previously initiated in Cambridge, alternating between Chinese and English. In order to better face the challenges of "a Community with a Shared Future" in the future, he stressed that in the face of the challenges and opportunities of globalization, college students must have an open mind and cross-cultural understanding ability, and be able to understand the world from multiple perspectives. China has stepped into the center of the world stage, and today's college students have great potential. The United Nations, the World Bank, the IMF, multinational companies and others are all your stages, waiting for you and beckoning to you. But you must develop your overall strength, especially your English ability

At the same time, President Li introduced "the connotation and extension of China Embracing Innovation Theory" in a simple way, and shared a number of international hot issues and innovation theories. He pointed out that China embracing innovation is an endogenous social innovation, a strategic model of joint construction, sharing and win-win, which combines strength and softness and seeks common ground with the wise. It belongs to the category of social innovation. It is rooted in the Chinese culture of "harmony", the Confucian theory of "harmony is precious", and the essence of Chinese classical philosophy "embracing contradictions". From a strategic and innovative management perspective, it solves the mystery of China's sustained, high-speed, and stable economic development over the past 40 years, analyzes the roots of sustainable development in Chinese society, politics, economy, and environment, interprets China's innovation model, and explains the path of China's peaceful rise. China embracing innovation theoretically and academically explains China's path from "standing up" to "getting rich" to "becoming strong". China returned to the top of the world with its 5000 civilization. The practical innovation of China's peaceful rise directly attacks the "China threat theory", "China collapse theory" and "China copycat theeory", and China embracing innovation rewrites the theory of the great powers rise.

President Li's explanation made many freshmen realize that the expansion of international vision is not limited to textbook knowledge, but also needs to actively participate in the colorful bilingual campus cultural activities and international affairs.

Many students expressed that participating in such discussions made them more aware of the importance of an international perspective and the value of innovative thinking. A freshman from the China-Russia International Class said, "I rarely thought about international issues before, but today's discussion made me realize that understanding the changes in the world has a direct impact on my professional studies."
