On September 20th, according to the award announcement of the 4th Shaanxi Provincial University Mathematics Course Teaching Innovation Competition released by the Shaanxi Provincial Education, Science, Culture, Health, and Sports Union Committee and the Shaanxi Provincial Mathematical Society, Associate Professor Xing Ruifang from the Mathematics Teaching and Research Office of the Basic Department at the School of Intelligent Science and Engineering of Xi'an Peihua University won the first prize in the competition.

As this was their first participation, the School of Intelligent Science and Engineering formed a dedicated working group, actively coordinating the team efforts of the Mathematics Teaching and Research Office in the Basic Department of the School. Multiple instructional seminars were held, with meticulous attention paid to every detail, from the design of teaching materials to the implementation process of teaching.
Through various stages such as the evaluation of teaching materials, teaching process assessment, and teaching effectiveness evaluation, Professor Xing Ruifang presented an excellent student-centered teaching class based on the theme of "Variance" course content. Following the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) instructional design concept, she utilized the BOPPPS instructional design scheme. This ultimately garnered high praise from the judges, enabling her to stand out in the preliminary competition within the school and achieve the remarkable result of winning the first prize in the school's maiden participation.

With a rigorous attitude and persistent efforts, Professor Xing Ruifang painstakingly refined the course for the competition. She ingeniously integrated innovative teaching concepts into it, fully demonstrating her solid professional foundation and excellent teaching abilities. Winning the first prize is not only a high recognition of Professor Xing's personal unremitting efforts but also a powerful testament to the solidarity and collaboration of all teachers in the School of Intelligent Science and Engineering.
Meanwhile, during the competition process, Director Zhang Wei from the Teacher Development Center provided meticulous guidance with his professional skills and rich experience in the video production process, ensuring the high quality of the competition video. Ms. Dang Huimin from the School Union, with her strong professionalism and precise grasp of video presentation effects, offered numerous valuable suggestions for video optimization, contributing to the splendid display of the competition results.
