On December 18, the "Jiang Weizhi Class" Achievement Reporting and Honorary Award Ceremony for the 2023-2024 academic year was held in the Lecture Hall of Weizhi Library. Attendees included Jiang Bo, Chairman of School; Li Yingfang, President of School; Yao Wenjing, Vice President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Tie Wei, Director of the Academic Affairs Management Center; Chen Ling, Director of the Party Committee Work Department; Yan Tuanji, Dean of the School of Marxism; Liu Yu, Director of the Cooperation and Development Center; Han Yun, Director of the Student Potential Development Center; Quan Jing, Assistant Director of the Development Planning and Quality Construction Center; Party secretaries (or deputy party secretaries) of secondary colleges; 50 public judges; academic advisor representatives; all counselors; and student representatives. They witnessed the temporal dialogue between Peihua youth and the profound history together, as well as the flame torch relay with the glorious chapters.
Speech by Chairman Jiang Bo
Jiang Bo stated that after nearly a century of trials and tribulations, the most precious wealth of Peihua is the cultural spirit and beliefs of Peihua people. The "Jiang Weizhi Spirit" does not represent one individual but is a true portrayal of educators of that era. He appealed to every Peihua student to look up at the stars while being grounded, to shoulder historical missions and social responsibilities, to remain true to their original aspirations at the new starting point of the century-long journey, and to continue running on the youth track of the new era.

Quan Yongtai summarized the achievements and progress of the "Jiang Weizhi Class" initiative for the 2023-2024 academic year around four aspects: "Strengthening Foundations - Deeply Promoting Ideal and Belief Education; Enhancing Efficiency - Strengthening Teaching and Learning Effectiveness Feedback; Improving Quality - Orderly Advancing Hierarchical and Categorized Initiatives; Upgrading Levels - Forming a Closed-Loop Quality Assessment System." In his speech, he mentioned that in the subsequent initiative work, we should always integrate the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era with the school's talent training program, merge the creation of the "Jiang Weizhi Class" with the cultivation of youth education in the new era, and align the red ideal and belief education with serving students' growth and development, thereby writing a new chapter for the high-quality construction of the school.
Class Presentation and Showcase
The 2022 Nursing 02 Class of the Medical School integrated the "Jiang Weizhi Spirit" with its professional characteristics and condensed the creation policy of "Love and Mercy, Diligence and Dedication, Fearless Innovation, Guarding Life." The class adhered to the principle of "promoting learning and research through competitions," participating in eight school student innovation and entrepreneurship projects over three years, publishing three papers, and obtaining 137 qualification and skill certificates. Jiaxin Li's work in the anatomic drawing competition and PICC catheterization won a national first prize. Yue Zhang's participation in the research on "the role of glucocorticoid receptors in the pathogenesis of Dahl salt-sensitive hypertension" received national funding. Students upheld the professional philosophy of "Absolute Truth and Perfect Goodness, Sincere and Dedicated Medicine," deeply integrating the Florence Nightingale Spirit with the "Jiang Weizhi Spirit," showcasing the brilliant demeanor of medical youth. The class has collectively won 30 national, 19 provincial, and 108 school-level honors. The class had a 100% registration rate on the Volunteer Hub app and a 100% activity participation rate, with a total volunteer service duration exceeding 1,500 hours. They have made nursing warm and boundaryless with practical actions.
The 2022 Chinese Language and Literature 08 Class of the Humanities and International Education School implemented a "123" working model in class creation: one direction, strengthening ideological guidance through fully implementing the "integration of class and league" operating mechanism; two focal points, theoretical learning and practical education; and three measures, strengthening system construction, innovating thematic education, and enriching practical methods. The class has obtained over 100 various qualification certificates, with a 35% CET-4 pass rate and a 100% teacher qualification exam registration rate. They have collectively won 38 national, 49 provincial and municipal, and 68 school-level honors. During the creation process, they explored and developed the "11348" model of "One Body, One Specialty, Three Teachers, Four Stages, Eight Abilities," making constant progress and striving forward to write a glorious chapter for young students.
The 2022 Computer Science and Technology 03 Class of the Intelligent Science and Engineering School adhered to the core philosophy of "Academics as the Foundation, Pursuing Excellence," with reinforcing class "Three Regulations" as the basis and achieving "Six Rates" as the goal. Classmates collectively won three computer software copyrights of the People's Republic of China, participated in more than ten industry-academic-research cooperation projects, and published eight academic papers. They won 63 national awards, including the second prize in the "Collaborative Innovation Information Technology Special Competition," over 90 provincial and municipal awards, and more than 120 college and school-level awards. The creation approach of "Stabilizing Foundations, Highlighting Characteristics, Re-establishing Creation" inspires students of the School of Intelligent Engineering to unite, strive forward, and spread the voice of Peihua.
The 2022 Human Resource Management 01 Class of the Accounting and Finance School adhered to the principle of learning for distant goals and competitions promoting growth, winning 39 national, 52 provincial and municipal, over 50 school-level, and 100 college-level awards, successfully securing two national-level, two provincial-level, and four school-level innovation and entrepreneurship projects. Under the dual guidance of academic advisors and corporate mentors, the project "Guochao Magic Arts - Huashan Conjuring Trends" was awarded the "China Wing Star Award" by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the National Development and Reform Commission.
The 2023 Chinese Language and Literature 16 Class of the Humanities and International Education School, integrating professional knowledge and condensing characteristics, formulated the 1928 operating mechanism: one common goal, nine class committees led by two mentors, forming eight learning support groups for collective creation. Students actively participated in various academic competitions and qualification exams, obtaining 77 honors at different levels, more than 60 skill certificates such as the Computer Rank Examination Level 2 to date, participating in six research project fundings, and achieving a 100% CET-4 registration rate. Their National Day thematic day activity was reported by the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education, Shaanxi Daily, and other official media. They demonstrated their patriotic hearts with firm beliefs and contributed to Peihua with practical actions.
The 2022 Network and New Media 06 Class of the Media and Design School conducted its creation around class atmosphere development, academic atmosphere creation, classroom discipline, class culture, dormitory management, and other aspects, dedicating to academic atmosphere construction from four dimensions: two-way attendance, learning seminars, role model leadership, and targeted assistance. Combining professional training with new media platforms, they produced promotional videos, documentaries, Xiaohongshu graphics, app designs, and other new media works, publishing over 50 pieces on various platforms with over 20,000 views. They actively participated in competitions such as the Internet+ College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest, Challenge Cup, innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and various academic competitions, with a 90% participation rate and a 51% award-winning coverage rate, winning 22 national, 30 provincial, and over 70 college and school-level awards. They used their knowledge to transcend boundaries and spread the red spirit, contributing to the century-old Peihua.
