On the evening of October 23, Xi’an Peihua University Held Its 97th Anniversary Celebration and 2025 Freshmen Welcome Gala was held at the Wukesong Stadium. The event was attended by Chairman Jiang Bo, Party Secretary Liu Feng, Vice President Yao Wenjing, International Principal Li Hua, and representatives of teachers and students from all secondary schools. The song “Scales of the Dragon” echoed with the cultural confidence of Chinese civilization through its powerful melody. The film dubbing performance “Ideals Illuminating China” revived revolutionary times through voice, reaffirming the enduring mission of educating youth for the nation and the Party. The song “Falling Leaves Return to Their Roots” portrayed profound patriotism with its moving tune, reflecting the Peihua spirit of “virtue carrying all”. The folk dance “Pomegranate Blossoms” showcased ethnic charm with vibrant costumes and graceful moves, symbolized by the blooming flowers. The medley including “Playing My Beloved Pipa” and “Song of the Guerrillas” paid tribute to revolutionary heroes, embodying Peihua’s steadfast dedication to the nation.

The 2025 freshmen passionately sang a song called “Childhood Time Machine”, connecting the pure voice with the innocent years, showcasing the vibrant vitality of the freshmen and their beautiful expectations for college life; Magic show “Freshmen Gathering: Magical Bloom” interpreted “magical growth” with exquisite techniques, becoming a vivid footnote to Peihua’s innovative inheritance; The street dance “Survivor” showcased the spirit of “survival breakthrough” through impactful movements, demonstrating the determination of students to bravely challenge themselves. The song and dance show “Reed Catkins” depicted the poetry of youth with melodious singing and graceful dance movements, like a portrait of youth on Peihua campus; The Latin dance “Latino” ignited the audience with passionate and unrestrained steps, becoming a vivid portrayal of students’ diverse development and pursuit of individuality; The song “Flower Field” implied that the campus is a fertile ground for nurturing hope, and students bloom with unique fragrance like flowers; The instrumental ensemble “Free Tango” was performed by teachers from the Art Education Center, bringing the charm of tango to life with mastery and finesse, and highlighting the beauty of teaching and learning in mutual growth.

Finally, the musical recitation “My Pledge to the Strong Nation” brought senior students and freshmen together on one stage, elevating the era-defining vow, “Rest Assured, Our Party: the Strong Nation Has Us,” to a crescendo and achieving a powerful intergenerational passing of the torch.

The Gala came to a successful conclusion with the choral performances of “Defending the Yellow River” and “Song of Peihua” by the 2025 freshmen.
