自大学生暑期赴美带薪项目（Summer Work and Travel Program）引入我校以来，已有多名学生参加，反响热烈。其中最受学生欢迎的岗位非游乐场工作人员（amusement park staff）莫属。2016年1月9日美国犹他州知名大型主题游乐场Lagoon Amusement Park将携手西米赴美™，在西安举行美企面试会（Job Fair），为我校学生带来多个游乐场工作人员岗位，希望感兴趣的同学踊跃报名，把握此次配岗机会。
一、企业介绍Host Company Description
Lagoon Amusement Park, located in Farmington, Utah, 25 kilometers north of Salt Lake City, has been providing good times for the Mountain West ever since it was established in 1886. Lagoon boasts over 50 exhilarating rides and attractions including: gravity deifying roller coasters, river rapids, launch towers, family rides, Lagoon A Beach waterpark, to a historic Pioneer Village.

二、岗位描述Position Description
Under general supervision, the Ride Operator is responsible for the proper operation of amusement rides and attractions including assisting guests in loading and unloading of ride and restraining systems, operating the ride using control panels, communicating safety instructions, and observing the ride while in motion in accordance with Lagoon’s Policies and Procedures.
Lagoon will provide on average 40 hours per week over the course of June, July, and August. However, employees may work 50 to 60 hours per week depending on the desire of the employee, employee performance, and business levels.
Pay Frequency: Twice Monthly
三、住宿环境Housing Description
Weber State University - University Village
All housing is “Apartment Style” housing with kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Lagoon will provide each apartment with a bed mattress pillow and sheets. All other apartment furnishing will be the participant’s responsibility upon arrival. Each apartment will have (4) four persons per apartment and (1) one person per bedroom.
