In the golden September, we received another exciting news! On September 20th, in the beautiful city of Xiamen, the Third National Young Teacher Teaching Competition in Higher Nursing Education Institutions came to a successful conclusion. Organized by the Chinese Nursing Association, this grand event brought together 106 young teachers from 106 undergraduate universities across 31 provinces and municipalities nationwide. They gathered together to engage in a peak showdown of teaching skills, with 19 contestants ultimately winning the first prize.


Associate Professor Yue Huijuan from the Nursing Department of the Medical School, who was the first prize winner of the 2021 Shaanxi Provincial Youth Nursing Teacher Teaching Competition, was selected by the Shaanxi Nursing Association along with five other teachers from five undergraduate universities in the province to participate in this competition. Ultimately, with her outstanding performance, Professor Yue Huijuan surpassed all competitors and won first place in the undergraduate group, becoming the only outstanding representative from Shaanxi Province to receive this honor, bringing immense glory to our university.
During the competition, Associate Professor Yue Huijuan demonstrated her outstanding teaching style with an eight-minute live lecture. She skillfully utilized case studies to introduce the topic and vividly presented the teaching scenarios. By incorporating video displays, she visually presented key knowledge points. Through on-site demonstrations, she further enhanced students' understanding. Her teaching design was exquisite and the content was informative and inspiring. The courseware was beautifully crafted, her language expression was clear and fluent, and her teaching demeanor was natural and graceful, exhibiting a strong appeal that deeply impressed every judge and fellow educator. Her outstanding performance earned unanimous praise from the audience and successfully won her the championship, a well-deserved honor.

Associate Professor Yue Huijuan has presided over 6 provincial and university-level research projects, with a cumulative funding of over 450,000 yuan. She has completed 2 industry-university-research cooperation projects, published 10 papers, including 1 SCI-indexed paper, and co-authored 6 textbooks, among which she served as the deputy editor for 2. She has repeatedly won first prizes in national, provincial, and university-level teaching competitions, and has been honored with the title of "Excellent Teacher" at the university level multiple times. As a mentor in the China International "Internet+" College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, she has guided teams to win 4 provincial bronze awards.
