On the morning of August 30th, a delegation from Kyoto City, headed by Mr. Nishimura Yoshinao, Speaker of ParliamentofKyoto City Council, visited Xi'an Peihua University. Mr. Jiang Bo, the Trustee, met with the delegation at the Mingde Building. Professor Liu Yuelian, Vice President and Dean of the School of Humanities and International Education, and Mr. Li Guodong, Director of the Foreign Languages Department, accompanied the meeting.

During the meeting, Mr. Jiang Bo, the Trustee, provided a detailed introduction to the educational history of Xi'an Peihua University, its academic programs, enrollment scale, and graduates' employment situation. Speaker Nishimura Yoshinao expressed his gratitude to Mr. Jiang Bo for taking the time to meet with the delegation amidst his busy schedule.

In the morning, events such as a study abroad promotion session for Kyoto, a Sino-Japanese university student exchange meeting, and a Sino-Japanese university student choir performance were held.

In his address, Mr. Jiang Bo, the Trustee, welcomed the delegation from Kyoto City and offered congratulations on the 50th anniversary of the friendship between Xi'an and Kyoto. He expressed the hope for strengthened exchanges between young people of China and Japan in the future, and for enhanced interactions and cooperation between the institutions of higher education in Xi'an and Kyoto, as well as between Xi'an Peihua University and universities in Kyoto.

During the Sino-Japanese university student exchange session, three students from Kyoto Women's University, Kyoto University, and Doshisha University, along with three students from the 2021 cohort of Xi'an Peihua University, engaged in thematic presentations and exchanges on the topics of "Cuisine," "Scenic Spots," and "Culture." The entire session was conducted in Japanese.

Following individual performances where Chinese and Japanese university students sang songs in their respective languages, they came together to perform a chorus of "Jasmine Flower" .

In the afternoon, the delegation toured the library, the school history museum, the international exchange center, and the stem cell and regenerative medicine center of the medical school.

This event was hosted by Mr. Li Guodong, Director of the Foreign Languages Department of the School of Humanities and International Education at Xi'an Peihua University, and Deputy Director Mr. Cao Changchun. All teachers and students from the Japanese Language major within the Foreign Languages Department, university students studying Japanese, and students from the Hengyou Choir of Xi'an Peihua University participated in the exchange activities.
