Xi'an Peihua University

Xi’an Peihua University is a private undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education of China. Located in the ancient city of Xi’an, the university operates across three campuses—Chang’an, Gaoxin, and Guodu—covering an area of over 1.3 million square meters. It has an enrollment of over 33,000 students, a library collection of 2.25 million volumes, and has trained more than 50,000 applied talents. Peihua University traces its history back to 1928, when it was established as the First Women's Vocational School in Xi’an. In 1984, it was restored as the first women's general higher education institution in China, Xi’an Peihua Women’s University. It was upgraded to a full-fledged undergraduate institution in 2003, becoming the first private university in western China with the authority to confer bachelor's degrees in 2007. In 2018, it was designated as a "First-Class Academy" by Shaanxi Province. In 2023, Peihua University successfully passed the Ministry of Education’s undergraduate education evaluation and has been consistently recognized as a "Civilized Campus of Shaanxi Province" and one of China’s Top 10 Private Universities.

• Heritage in Women’s Education

Peihua University carries forward a century-long tradition of women's education, offering specialized courses in women’s leadership, tea culture, and more, supported by advanced simulation training platforms.

Industry-Academia Integration

The university collaborates with nearly 100 enterprises, including Huawei, and has established over 40 industry-academia platforms, such as the Intelligent Trading Research Institute and the Financial Cloud Accounting Center. It has been recognized by the Ministry of Education as one of China’s Top 50 Universities for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

• Academic Strengths

With a core focus on finance and medicine, Peihua University also covers disciplines such as engineering and law. Its nursing and pharmacy programs have been recognized as provincial first-class undergraduate programs. The university also co-establishes joint master's training stations with institutions like Northwest University.

• Internationalization

Peihua University actively promotes internationalization and has established partnerships with nearly 100 universities in over 40 countries. It offers joint master's and doctoral programs and has collaborated with the American Heart Association (AHA) to establish the first emergency training center in Northwest China.

1. ELITE Innovation College Cambridge

ELITE Innovation College Cambridge(EICC) is an international education institution founded by Professor Li Hua. Leveraging Cambridge University’s academic resources, EICC collaborates with global partners to provide both degree and non-degree programs, with a strong focus on innovation education and global talent development. By integrating Cambridge’s academic heritage with innovation-driven practices, EICC has become a key institution in China-UK educational collaboration and global talent cultivation.

Core Features

Educational System

Established during the COVID-19 pandemic (with historical roots dating back to 2006), EICC has developed a four-dimensional education model combining innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, and leadership, breaking traditional disciplinary boundaries. Professor Li Hua, a former visiting scholar at Cambridge University, led the development of the Agora EIC hybrid learning platform, creating the ELITE Talent Development System, which redefines the Oxbridge model to provide comprehensive, high-quality, and affordable education.

Key Programs

   Elite Courses: Offers the Cambridge/Oxford Winter & Summer Camp (EGTP), designed to cultivate strategic thinking and entrepreneurial skills, attracting high school and university students worldwide.

   Career Development: Provides Executive Development Programs (EDP) such as Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) and Global Leadership for Women (GLW). It also partners with Canterbury Christ Church University (UK) and other institutions to offer top-up degree  programs and international master’s and doctoral programs.

   Industry-Academia Collaboration: Works with institutions like the Tai’an Council for the Promotion of International Trade, offering corporate training in negotiation techniques and cross-cultural management.

• International Collaboration

EICC has established strategic partnerships with institutions including Christie University (USA), Trinity Western University (Canada), University of Europe for Applied Sciences (Germany), University of the West of Scotland (UK), University of International Business and Economics (China), and Xi’an Peihua University. Through brand-sharing agreements, EICC promotes faculty exchange, research capacity enhancement, and sustainable institutional development.

World University Presidents Forum

In November 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, EICC successfully co-hosted the "World University Presidents Forum 2021" with the China Association of Higher Education and United Academic Impact at the University of Law, London. The hybrid event gathered nearly 50 university presidents from around the world.

2. United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI)

The United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) is a global initiative launched by the United Nations in 2010 to establish cooperative mechanisms between higher education institutions and the UN, promoting global governance and the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Mission and Framework

Guided by the United Nations Charter, UNAI leverages academic research and practical initiatives to address global challenges such as poverty eradication, environmental protection, and human rights advocacy. During the launch ceremony, former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon emphasized the longstanding support of the academic community for UN efforts and advocated for institutionalized cooperation to enhance education's role in international affairs.

• Ten Principles of Action

Member institutions commit to supporting ten core principles covering areas such as poverty eradication, universal education, sustainable development, and intercultural dialogue. For example, Tsinghua University and other UNAI members have conducted climate issue seminars to explore the translation of academic research into policy solutions.

• Global Collaboration Network

As of 2025, UNAI spans 147 countries and includes over 1,400 institutions, forming an academic alliance with prestigious universities such as Peking University and Cornell University. Members engage through joint research projects, international conferences, and the use of the UNAI logo to amplify academic outreach.

Key Initiatives and Achievements

In recent years, UNAI has focused on climate change mitigation, driving green technology innovation and environmental communication partnerships. By incubating academic solutions, UNAI contributes to the realization of SDGs, strengthens youth scholars' participation in global governance, and fosters multilateral cooperation. With a network linking 25 million educators, UNAI serves as a bridge between academic research and international affairs, solidifying its role as a key platform for global academic collaboration.

3. United World Chinese Association

The United World Chinese Association (UWCA) was founded on August 28, 1992, by Dr. Cheng Wanqi as a non-political, non-religious global organization dedicated to uniting Chinese communities worldwide and promoting peace, friendship, development, and mutual success. With over 6 million members across more than 180 countries and regions, UWCA is one of the largest Chinese diaspora organizations globally.

Key Activities and Contributions

Economic Cooperation

Facilitated hundreds of billions of dollars in Chinese business collaborations and helped establish over 5,000 foreign-funded and joint ventures, including events such as the Taiwan-Mainland Cross-Strait Economic and Trade Fair and the World Chinese Business Leaders Annual Conference.

Cultural Exchange

Organized events like the Miss Chinese World Pageant and the Stankovic Cup Basketball Tournament, and established the World Outstanding Chinese Award to promote Chinese culture on the international stage.

Regional Collaboration

In 2024, UWCA formed a strategic partnership with the Shaanxi International Trade & Industry Group to enhance business cooperation, integrate Chinese resources globally, and foster peaceful international development.

History and Vision

At its inception, over 400 Chinese representatives worldwide joined the association. In 1997, UWCA held its 2nd General Assembly in Los Angeles, focusing on enhancing the global influence of Chinese communities and facilitating their integration into mainstream society. Looking ahead, UWCA will continue to strengthen global Chinese collaboration, promote Chinese cultural heritage, and contribute to economic, cultural, and social philanthropy initiatives.

4.Introduction to China Association For Educational TechnologyCAET

Founded in 1991, the China Association For Educational Technology (CAET) is a national first-level social organization registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

In November 2002, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the China Audio-Visual Education Association was renamed as the China Association For Educational Technology, becoming the sole national-level industry association in the field of educational informatization. Its mission is to promote the in-depth integration of technology and education and foster innovative development within the educational informatization industry. The association implements the guidelines and policies of the Party and the state regarding education and educational informatization, providing a platform for governments, enterprises, schools, and research institutions to engage in research, application, and practice of educational informatization and educational technology. It serves its members by assisting enterprises in exploring domestic and international markets, developing the educational informatization industry, leading industry innovation, achieving educational equity, improving educational quality, promoting balanced educational development, and contributing to the modernization of national education.

The association's membership encompasses schools at all levels across the country, relevant management institutions, social organizations, and enterprises in the four major fields of higher education, basic education, vocational and adult education. It currently has 102 provincial and ministerial-level group members and thousands of member organizations at various levels. The CAET has established an Academic Committee and a Technical Standards Committee, composed of renowned Chinese experts in educational technology and information technology. The association has 35 branches, including working committees on artificial intelligence, distance education in universities, higher agricultural colleges, foreign languages, sports, finance, medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, virtual simulation, vocational education, primary and secondary school education informatization, educational games, film and television media, film education, educational rehabilitation, innovative education practice, and smart education. These branches are specifically responsible for carrying out work within their respective systems and fields of expertise.

Since its inception, the association has been actively promoting the concern, attention, and support for educational technology from all sectors of society. It coordinates and organizes research on educational technology, hosts various academic activities, promotes and exchanges theoretical and technological advancements, as well as research findings and experiences in equipment related to educational technology. It provides consulting services and industry management for educational administrative departments in decision-making regarding educational technology, trains management personnel, teachers, theoretical researchers, and technicians related to educational technology, edits and publishes books, journals, and materials to exchange information on educational technology, hosts professional exhibitions, strengthens connections with relevant international organizations to conduct academic exchange activities, and undertakes tasks entrusted by the Ministry of Education.

In recent years, with the rapid development of educational informatization, the association has continuously absorbed outstanding enterprise members in the field of educational informatization. It promotes new technologies, new products, and excellent educational teaching models to schools at all levels across the country, striving to facilitate school-enterprise cooperation and government-enterprise cooperation, building a bridge between government, users, industry, academia, and research in educational informatization. It formulates industry standards in the fields of educational technology and educational informatization, making remarkable contributions to the national implementation of educational informatization.

5. China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE)

China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), established in July 1981, is a national organization in China's education sector dedicated to facilitating non-governmental international educational cooperation and exchanges.

Headquartered in Beijing, the association maintains a permanent secretariat as its operational office.

Mission

The association actively promotes exchanges and cooperation between China's education sector and counterparts worldwide, fostering the development of education, science and technology, and cultural endeavors, while enhancing mutual understanding and friendship among peoples of different countries and regions.

Members and Partners

Approved by China's Ministry of Civil Affairs as a national social organization in 1991. The supreme governing body is the General Assembly (or the Congress of Representatives). The 337 council members are elected by various group member units. It has local associations in 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government in China. Currently, it boasts a total of 1,348 group member units, encompassing educational institutions at all levels and of all types, and has established 16 branches. The association has over 1,000 domestic project partner organizations. The secretariat has forged long-term and stable exchange and cooperation relationships with over 140 authoritative educational organizations and groups from more than 50 countries and regions.
