中国日报网：Innovative Chinese education model from Xi'an Peihua College empowers cultural communication

Xi'an Peihua College's Chinese International Education program is revolutionizing the field of Chinese education through initiatives such as "AI Empowerment + Scene Reshaping" and "Cloud Cross-border + Paid Practice," establishing a three-dimensional training system of "Learning-Practicing-Applying" to cultivate versatile talents for international Chinese education.

In collaboration with Xi'an Superstar Education Technology, the program has established the International Chinese VR Virtual Simulation Laboratory and introduced courses like "AI Courseware Development". Students are equipped with smart teaching skills through VR classrooms and multilingual speech assessment systems, engaging in virtual internships at Confucius Institutes in Thailand and Cambodia.

The program has launched the "Belt and Road" Cloud Internship Workshop, where students can operate educational accounts with pay to incubate cultural IPs. The jointly created digital cultural exhibition hall has attracted tens of thousands of users, with some accounts gaining tens of thousands of followers monthly.

Among the 2023 graduates, the highest annual salary for a cross-border cultural IP manager exceeded 500,000 yuan($68,799), while some students joined Ningxia Smart Palace Group to participate in textbook development for Arab countries.

Through the "International Chinese Teacher Certificate + Full Media Operations Certificate" dual certification system, around 65% of the 2023 graduates hold both certificates. The program provides "Professional + Industry" dual mentors, with 70% of teachers having experience teaching at overseas Confucius Institutes and 30% coming from the forefront of AI education development.

Student teams have accumulated 23 awards from national teaching skills competitions, with the "Metaverse Chinese Corner" attracting participants from 20 countries. Over the past three years, the employment rate of graduates has remained stable at 94%, with alumni pursuing careers as international school teachers and overseas textbook developers.

To date, the program has established partnerships with the Thai Ministry of Education, the Confucius Institute in Cambodia, and online education platform Yuanfudao. Graduates from the specialized "Metaverse Chinese Master Class" can directly access positions in AI education product development.
