Recently, the Education Working Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education announced the results of the second batch of research topics and practical projects of network ideological and political work in Shaanxi universities. Our school has been approved for 1 key research topic, 2 general research topics, and 2 self-funded practice projects. The total number of projects approved ranks first in Shaanxi private universities.

In this project, the "Research on Internet Public Opinion Governance Strategies in Colleges and Universities in the Prevention and Control of Major Epidemics" chaired by Yao Wenjing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of our university, was approved as a key research topic; the “Three-Dimensional Model of Network Ideological and Political Cultivation and Governance Evaluation in Private Colleges and Universities”, hosted by Kou Junqiang, Deputy Dean of the School of Marxism, and the "Empirical Research on the Impact of Webcasting on College Students' Ideological and Political Education" hosted by Gao Jiawei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Media and Communications, were approved as general research topics; the "Research on the Construction of Campus Network Civilization from the Perspective" and "Research on the Integration of Ideological and Political Education Based on Red Gene Inheritance" chaired respectively by Liu Yu, Head of the Propaganda Department of the School Party Committee, and Li Shuqi, a teacher from the School of Architecture and Art Design, were approved as general self-funded practice projects.

In recent years, our university has attached great importance to the ideological and political work on the Internet. With the idea of creating a multi-dimensional Internet ideological and political education position of "diversified platforms, three-dimensional frameworks, and refined content", we have solidly carried out online ideological and political education for college students, have further promoted the construction of network culture on campus, have maximized the function of network education, and have made ideological and political work "live" in an all-round way. In 2021, three projects were successfully approved in the first batch of research projects on network ideological and political work in Shaanxi universities. In the fifth Shaanxi University College Students Network Culture Festival Competition, our students won 9 awards, including one second prize, one third prize, and an excellent award Received an excellent award in the 5th Shaanxi Province Efficient Network Education Excellent Works Selection and Exhibition Activity. They also won the third prize in the 5th National College Student Network Culture Festival.
