Th eLaw major of Xi’an Peihua University was set up in May 1999, and the first class of three-year college students were admitted in September of the same year, and the first class of undergraduate students were admitted five years later.Now it is aconstruction site of key disciplinein Shaanxi Province.

Founded in February 2023, School of Law has always been guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era, and has studied and implemented Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law in depth, so as to train applied law major talents with both virtues and professionalism,who have a solid professional the oretical foundation,sound knowledge structure, and goodskills, as well as the ability to govern in accordance with law,make laws in scientific approach, administrate in accordance with law, and provide efficient and high-quality legal services, and the awarenessof innovation and entrepreneurship.

In talent cultivation, School of Law keeps the talent cultivation model of “theory + practice”and“professional law +integration of other disciplines”,and practices case study throughout the entire teaching process,emphasizing the practice and application orientation, and therefore was approved by the Education Department of Shaanxi Provincial Governmentas the “Innovative Experimental Zone for Applied Talent Cultivation Mode”.Aproject named“A Practice of Applied Law Talent Cultivation Oriented on Vocational Competence” carried out by the Law major in 2021 has been selected asa typical case of the “School-Enterprise Cooperation”and the principle of “letting a hundred flowers bloom and a hundred schools of thought contend”by the China Association of Higher Education.

The school has afaculty with excellent ethics, high academic level and rich teaching experience. The student management team of the school has high moral and political standards,withhigh professionalism, strict discipline and upright work style.

The school has a mock court and a training room on lawyers practices,to carry out on-campus practical training activities, and has set upnineoff-campus internship bases, including Xi’an Arbitration Commission, Beijing Yingke (Xi’an) Law Firm, Shaanxi Yunde Law Firm, Shaanxi HuageLaw Firm, etc., to jointly carry out teaching activities of legal practice.

The school has been successively awarded the “Women’s Pioneer Post” in the Education,Culture,Health and Sports Systemof Shaanxi province,the“Advanced Collective of Teachers’Ethics”, and the “Advanced Grassroots Party Organization” in Xi’an Peihua University.
