The School of Accounting and Finance was established in June 2018 by the merger of the original School of Accounting and the School of Business. It is a second-level department of Xi’an Peihua University with a larger scale, stronger capability and higher enrollment compared to other departments. The school has a team off aculty with high academic level and reasonable structure,and first-class teaching conditions.The school now has 2 large-scale comprehensive training centers and 12 professional laboratories.

The school opened the“Advanced Accounting Department”as early as 1945 during the Peihua Vocational School. After more than 70 years of development, it now has 7 undergraduate majors with the right to grant bachelor’s degrees (Accounting, Financial Management, Asset Appraisal, E-Commerce,Financial Engineering,Human Resource Management,Marketing) and 1 junior college major (Big Data and Accounting). In 2007, it was the first professional department in Shaanxi private universities to obtain the“right to award bachelor’s degrees in Management”.

At present, the Accounting major isthe national first-class undergraduate major construction site in the 2020“Double Ten Thousand Program”announced by the Ministry of Education. The Financial Management major and E-commerce major are selected as provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, and the Marketing major is selected as a school-level first-class undergraduate major. For professional construction projects, the school has formed a comprehensive professional constructional and educational system at the national, provincial, and school levels, forming a well-known group of distinctive disciplines and majors.

After long-term construction and reform, in accordance with the new liberal arts construction and development philosophy, the school has built a system led by theAccounting major, focusing on the Financial Management major and Asset Evaluation major, and supported by the E-commerce and Financial Engineering majors, radiating and covering Management disciplines and Economics disciplines.The professional group in the economics discipline has built a multi-level talent training system based on undergraduate education,implemented application-oriented curriculum teaching reforms and school-enterprise joint training to orient undergraduate majors and vocationalize junior college majors, and build a good industry-university-research system.It sets the goal of gradually becominga high-level business school that focuses on the digital and intelligent financial industry in the northwest region, meets market demands,and hasan internationalvision,private school characteristics, and regional advantages.
