School of Accounting and Finance was established in June 2018 by merging School of Accounting and School of Business. And in Xi’an Peihua University, it is the largest school with the strongest teaching and researching strength and a large number of students. Teaching Team of the school is featured with high academic level and reasonable structure, with 85.1% of the teachers having master’s or doctoral degree, 44.18% of the teachers having senior titles and 61.85% of the teachers are double qualified teachers. The school is equipped with first-class teaching conditions, with 2 large comprehensive training centers and 12 professional laboratories. 

As early as 1945, Peihua Vocational College of which Xi’an Peihua University had set up Advanced Accounting Major. After more than 70 years of development, now the school has 7 bachelor’s degree programs (Accounting, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing, E-commerce, Financial Engineering) and 3 majors of junior college (Big Data and Accounting, Big Data and Financial Management, Marketing). It was the first department in Shaanxi private universities to obtain the right to award bachelor’s degree in management in 2007, and Accounting was one of the first two construction projects of first-class accounting major in Shaanxi Province in 2017 and Peihua University was also the only private institution with this construction projects. At present, Accounting is one of the national-level construction projects of first-class undergraduate majors and belongs to the Two 10,000 Plan, which was announced by he Ministry of Education in 2020. Financial Management and E-commerce are selected as provincial-level construction projects of first-class undergraduate majors, and Marketing is selected as the university-level construction project of first-class majors. The school has formed a complete major construction system with national-level, provincial-level and university-level construction projects.

With long-term construction and reform and according to the development philosophy of new liberal arts majors, the school has built a discipline group with Accounting as the leader, Financial Management and E-commerce as the focus, Marketing, Financial Engineering, Human Resources, International Economic and Trade as the support, radiating and covering management disciplines and economic disciplines. The school has already built a multilevel talent training system with the focus on undergraduate education. The school is reforming courses toward application-oriented courses, aiming to specialize undergraduate majors and professionalize the junior-college majors, and it provides school-enterprise joint training for students.
