Recently, the online closing and award presentation ceremony of the 2022 National Digital Architecture Innovation and Application Competition came to an end. Students from the School of Architecture and Art Design formed a team to participate and achieved excellent results.
Among them, the student team “Surprise” under the guidance of Yang Jin won the Grand Prize in the Digital Construction Project Management Integrated Application Competition (undergraduate group) and the First Prize in the Digital Construction BIM Deepening Design Competition (undergraduate group).
The student team “Think Tank”, under the guidance of Song Shengnan, won the first prize in the undergraduate group of the Integrated Application of Digital Construction Costing (Civil Construction) competition.
The student team supervised by Wang Shufang and Xi Rong won one team second prize and three team third prizes in the digital construction job practice skills comprehensive application simulation competition (undergraduate group), two team third prizes in this competition (specialist group), and one team third prize in the digital construction project cost comprehensive application (installation direction) competition (undergraduate group).
The National Digital Construction Innovation Application Competition started in 2008 and is organized by China Construction Education Association, and has been successfully held for more than ten years. Since the launch of the competition, our university’s engineering and costing major students have been actively organized to participate in the competition and through a combination of online and offline methods, they got excellent guidance, and finally achieved remarkable results after several rounds of selection including the internal pre-selection, the national pre-selection and the national final.
The competition demonstrated the achievements of the university’s education and teaching reform in engineering costing, improved the practical operation ability and professionalism of engineering costing students, achieved the purpose of promoting practice, teaching and learning through the competition, and laid a solid foundation for the students' future career development.
