The School of International Education of Xi’an Peihua University focuses on cultivating talents in the field of international humanities and social sciences. The school offers four undergraduate programs: English, Japanese, Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, and Preschool Education. These programs are solid in strength and distinctive in features. Among them, the English program is a provincial-level "first-class program" construction site in Shaanxi Province, and the Preschool Education program is a key teacher-training program. The English, Japanese, and Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language programs were among the first in similar institutions in Northwest China to be granted the authority to confer bachelor’s degrees, reflecting the school’s profound educational heritage.

The school centers on the "one specialty, one feature" approach to build a talent cultivation system, promoting the coordinated development of specialties and featured orientations, and precisely meeting the demands for international talents.

- English Major:Leveraging the advantages of being a provincial-level "first-class program" in Shaanxi, the program adopts an "English + Specialization" cultivation model. It strengthens students' foreign language proficiency while empowering them with professional skills, broadening their career development paths.

- Japanese Major:Upholding the teaching philosophy of "foundation + practicality," the program organizes students to participate in Sino-Japanese translation competitions and cross-cultural exchange activities, enhancing their intercultural communication and practical abilities while improving their humanistic literacy.

- Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language Major:Focusing on the application of intelligent education technology and cross-border cultural communication, the program constructs a three-dimensional cultivation system of "learning as foundation - practice as value addition - application as empowerment." It cultivates students' dual capabilities in "digital thinking + professional certification."

- Preschool Education Major: Adopting a "full-practice + on-site kindergarten" talent cultivation model, the program systematically cultivates six core competencies in students, including the design of educational and care activities, teaching and research innovation, and home-kindergarten collaboration, solidifying their teaching professionalism.

With the advent of the artificial intelligence era, AI-enabled student development has become an important direction for the school. Relying on the "VR Virtual Simulation Laboratory," the school offers relevant courses, enabling students to achieve dual enhancement in professional competence and technological literacy through VR classrooms, preparing them to meet the demands of technological changes in international fields.

The school has gathered a faculty team with noble ethics, profound academic expertise, and rich teaching experience. It is also equipped with a student management team that excels in political quality, professional capability, and strict discipline, laying a solid foundation for cultivating international talents. In recent years, the school has made simultaneous progress in research and teaching: faculty members have undertaken three national-level projects and over 52 provincial and ministerial-level projects; published over 200 academic and teaching reform papers (including over 80 in core journals); and authored more than 20 books. Significant achievements in teaching reform have been made, with two school-level teaching achievement awards received.

As a school with an international focus, we place great importance on cultivating applied and practical talents and have built a comprehensive practical teaching system. The school has established off-campus practice and university-enterprise cooperation bases with multiple units. It is also equipped with 27 professional practice and training rooms, including a virtual simulation training center, a kindergarten simulation activity room, and an English micro-teaching classroom. In the past three years, students have excelled in various competitions such as the College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Projects, "Internet Plus," and "Challenge Cup":

- One national-level and 12 provincial-level projects were approved in the College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Practice Projects.

- Eight provincial bronze awards were won in the China International College Student Innovation Competition (formerly the "Internet Plus" Competition).

- One first prize, one second prize, and one third prize were secured in the "Challenge Cup" Shaanxi Auto Group Shaanxi Provincial College Student Academic Science and Technology Works Competition.

- A national bronze award was achieved in the 2023 "FLTRP·ETIC Cup" "Understanding Contemporary China" National College Foreign Language Proficiency Competition, with over a thousand awards in provincial-level or higher teaching competitions, fully demonstrating students' solid professional competence and international competitiveness.
