Marc Verriere

Honorary Professor of Xi'an Peihua University. Founding Chairman of the International Olympic Arts Committee, co-founded the World Philharmonic Orchestra in Sweden with Françoise Legrand alongside musicians from 85 countries. In recognition of his outstanding contributions to public welfare, Marc Verriere and the World Philharmonic Orchestra received the UNICEF Service Medal in 1985. In 2007, the International Olympic Arts Committee was registered in Geneva under the Swiss Civil Code, establishing an international organizational framework for the revival of Olympic arts. This has enabled the committee to carry out activities worldwide in a more standardized and systematic manner, promoting the deep integration and development of art and the Olympic spirit.
