The mighty wind on the land of Shaanxi intertwines with the passion ignited by The 14th National Games of the People's Republic of China. As The 14th National Games of the People's Republic of China rounded off, the staff of the organizing committee of the 14th National Games threw themselves into the preparatory work entering the home stretch of the 11th National Paralympic Games & the 8th Special Olympics. Table tennis events and roller skating races of the 11th National Paralympics & the 8th Special Olympics were held in Xi’an City and Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, from October 22 to 28, respectively.

Different from events of the National Games of the People's Republic of China, The Paralympic Games & The Special Olympics grades athletes according to their type and degree of disability and athletes with the same type and degree of disability have competitions with each other. In order to reflect the principle of fair competition, all referees and technicians involved in officiating must carefully understand and master the relevant rules in detail, and strive to do a good job of civilized officiating and work with fairness and justice, which could further ensure the success of events.

After process including the pre-selection, interview, qualification examination, Zhao Manman, Shi Jun and Lyu Jing from the School of Physical Education and Sports were honored to join the referees team for the roller skating races and table tennis events of The 11th Paralympic Games & The 8th Special Olympics, safeguarding the valuable dreams of disabled athletes.

The three teachers of Peihua University showed their high professional quality and professionalism in the 11th Paralympic Games & the 8th Special Olympics with their solid professional skills, dedication to duty, rigorous and practical working attitude, civilized refereeing and fairness and justice. They were recognized by the organization party of the games. Among them, Ms. Lyu Jing was awarded the Moral Character Award and Mr. Shi Jun was awarded the title of Excellent Referee, which further shows the good working style of Peihua sports personnel who works seriously and responsibly .
