Recently, the jury of the 2nd Hong Kong Contemporary Design Award was announced. Among them, Sun Mintao, a 2019 student of Visual Communication Design from the School of Architecture and Art Design of Xi'an Peihua University, under the careful guidance of Mr. Zhang Peng and Mr. Zhang Xiaofan, with his solid professional basic ability and creative expression techniques, won one silver and two bronzes in the mainland competition. Among them, 13,726 people and 26,535 works in the mainland competition area stood out.

The Hong Kong Contemporary Design Award is led by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, co-organized by the Hong Kong Art Design Association and the Hong Kong Academy of Fine Arts, organized by the Hong Kong Style Publishing Group, and jointly reviewed by the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Lingnan University of Hong Kong and other high-level art and design awards.

The school fully mobilizes students' creative enthusiasm through competitions, cultivates students' international aesthetics, brand awareness, and innovative thinking, and cultivates time-sensitive, technical, and application-oriented high-quality talents suitable for relevant fields of visual communication design.
