Affected by the epidemic, the Enrollment and Employment Guidance Center of Xi’an Peihua University has launched the emergency measures for the employment during the epidemic prevention and control period. The Enrollment and Employment Guidance Center has done much work on the employment demand research, the online recruitment activities, the accurate employment guidance and services, and the assistance to students in difficulties.It especiallyheld a series of employment lectures online, which is called "Fighting the Epidemic, Promoting the Employment and Accurate Guidance".

Interpreting the Employment Situation during the Epidemic Period and Making Adequate Preparations for the Employment

On December 29th, Dong Debei, the campus channel leader in the northwest region of Campus and International Business Division of Zhaopin.com, a gold lecturer of Zhaopin.com, was invited to share the employment guidance for graduates. Mr. Dong made an accurate big data analysis on the needs of enterprises during the epidemic, and taught how to do a job hunting online, including correctly understanding oneself, setting up career goals and making career plans.

Popularizing the Employment Laws and Regulations to Avoid the Traps of Job Hunting

On January 3rd, Li Hanyu, an alumnus of Xi'an Peihua University, the practice tutor of the Law Department and the director of HUAGE Law Firm, was invited to give a lecture. As the administrative law enforcement supervisor of Xi Xian New Area and the executive director of International Commercial Dispute Research Association of Shaanxi Law Society, Mr. Li took personal experience as an example to explain the risks and the preventive measures in the process of the job hunting for the students who are new to the workplace.

On January 9th, the university took the example as the power to invite Wu Ni, an older sister who passed the postgraduate entrance examination of 21st, the chief college planner of Wandu Education, the special guest of Shaanxi Broadcasting and TV station, to share with the 22nd and 23rd postgraduate entrance examination students. In terms of learning methods, material selection, and postgraduate entrance examination mentality, Ms. Wu suggested that students find the right position and set reasonable goals. She said, "Accumulation of small steps leads to a thousand miles. Accumulation of laziness leads to the abyss, and hard work can lead to self-achievement."

On January 15th, a lecture was held on guidance for junior college students who would take the exam for being undergraduates. The lecture invited Zhang Lijuan, a lecturer from the School of Shaanxi Guangze Xi Da Education, and seniors to share with the students. Ms. Zhang helped the students to upgrade their exams from five aspects: the significance of upgrading to be undergraduates, the exam trend of upgrading to be undergraduates in Shaanxi in recent years, the preparation and the examination notes, and how to fill in the application form.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the graduates employment work in 2022 of Xi'an Peihua University has been transferred from offline to online under the leadership of the university leaders. Enrollment and Employment Guidance Center made the graduates employment emergency plan quickly, and carried out many activities such as emergency research,  "Employment Lecture Hall"online, and online publicity of key enterprises. We have made full efforts to reduce the negative impact of the epidemic on graduates' employment in Xi 'an from employment interpretation, futher study guidance and job recommendation.

Up to now, the university has carried out a questionnaire survey on the analysis of employment needs of students in Xi'an affected by the sudden outbreak of the epidemic, held 2 comprehensive online job fairs for the epidemic, and 4 live online employment lectures. The employment platform of Xi’an Peihua University has also continued to promote various types of employment information. In the future, Enrollment and Employment Guidance Center of Xi'an Peihua University will adhere to the student-centered employment services and win the battle for employment during the epidemic.
