In order to improve the innovative spirit, entrepreneurial awareness, innovation and entrepreneurial ability of students,also improve the quality of students, and lay a solid foundation for lifelong learning. According to the requirements of the school, ourschoolheld a selection competition for students' innovation and entrepreneurship training project in Zhishan Building on the afternoon of March 30. The competition invited Executive Vice Dean Professor Hu Guodong,Innovation andEntrepreneurshipTutor Jiang FengxiangAssociateProfessor , Associate Professor Fang Huanle, Associate Professor Shi Min, and Teacher Hu Xiaojia as judges.
The innovation and entrepreneurship training plan for students includes three categories: innovation training projects, entrepreneurship training projects and entrepreneurship practice projects. In this competition, a total of 50 projects of our institute participated in the defense, and the defense was divided into two parts: project report and judges' comments. Under the guidance of innovation and entrepreneurship mentors, each project team completes project research, project design, project implementation, writing application forms and reporting PPT, etc. After a tense and exciting public defense, the project team closely integrated innovation awareness with market demand, developed innovative products, and carried out entrepreneurial practice.

At the beginning of the defense, Professor Hu Guodong, executive vice president, pointed out in his speech that the innovation and entrepreneurship project for college students is to cultivate students' innovative thinking and innovation ability through the form of innovative education, which is conducive to improving the comprehensive quality of college students. In order to lay the foundation for the formation of core competitiveness in the defense, it is hoped that the defense will be fair and impartial to select excellent projects and submit them to the school.

The judges gave accurate comments on each project, and everyone agreed that this competition project was highly innovative and high-quality, and the students reported that the PPT was beautifully produced. The students also expressed that the competition has benefited a lot, giving them a newer and deeper understanding of innovation, entrepreneurship and teamwork, and expressed that they will maintain their sense of innovation and spirit, so that the project will produce fruitful results!
The holding of this competition further stimulated the enthusiasm of teachers and students for innovation and entrepreneurship in our school, improved students' innovation awareness, innovation ability and entrepreneurial ability, cultivated students' teamwork spirit, and also improved teachers' practical teaching and education level. The college will take this opportunity to continue to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education and teaching, strengthen the guidance and management of innovation and entrepreneurship training programs for college students, and deepen the collaborative education of industry, academia and research.

In the past three years, our school’s student innovation and entrepreneurship project has 3 national-level projects and 26 provincial-level projects, including 2 national-level projects and 10 provincial-level projects in 2021; 8 provincial-level projects in 2020; 1 item at the level and 8 items at the provincial level.
