On the morning of April 27, Consul General, Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Xi'an KIM HAN KYU, Consul,Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Xi'an SU HEE WI and four other members of the delegation visited our university. Our president Dr. Jiang Bo, Vice President Liu Yuelian, Director of the International Exchange Center Wang Peng, Executive Vice President of the School of Architecture and Art Design Xu Ying, and Korean Professor Choi Sung Baig accompanied the visit and had a meeting.

Dr. Jiang Bo expressed a warm welcome to the guests. He said that as a private university with early international exchange experiences, our university has established close cooperation with 53 universities in the US, UK, France, Canada, Korea, Singapore, Russia, Japan, Malaysia and other countries or regions. He emphasized that the university pays attention to the development of internationalization of education, always maintains exchanges with Korean universities and friendly people at home and abroad, and pays attention to the development and cooperation with Korean enterprises in Shaanxi. The university has successfully held several China-Korea Apparel Culture Symposiums. Meanwhile, the school will pay more attention to the promotion and implementation of related activities with Korea this year.

Consul General KIM HAN KYU said that China and Korea have a long history of cultural exchanges and the Korean Consulate General in Xi'an has always attached importance to the development of friendly exchanges between people. He noted that the year 2022 coincides with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Korea, and hoped that we could work together better. At the same time, he hoped to strengthen exchanges with Peihua, and jointly promote the development of education and culture between China and Korea, and promote the inheritance of China-Korea friendship.
