Recently, under the guidance of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council, the 4th Hong Kong Contemporary Design Competition hosted by the Hong Kong Art Design Association came to an end. This competition is divided into spring and autumn races. It aims to promote the interaction and exchange of art and design between universities in the two places through the competition activities and improve the overall level of design and art creation in the two places. The teachers and students at the School of Architecture and Art Design of our university responded actively, organized and implemented it carefully, and achieved excellent results in the spring competition.

Under the guidance of Zhang Zimo and Huo Dongze from the School of Architecture and Art Design, 8 students majoring in visual communication design, including Cai Jiaqian, Zhao Xueer, Kang Rongyiming, Zhu Haoyang, won 6 silver awards, 8 bronze awards, 1 Excellence Award, and 2 instructors were rated as outstanding instructors respectively.
