In the afternoon of September 3, a symposium to commemorate the 77th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, jointly sponsored by Shaanxi Red Revolution Culture Research Institute, Xi’an Peihua University and Yan’an Bairong Exhibition Co. , was held in Peihua University. Experts and scholars from different parts of the country engaged in the research of Red Culture and finance industry, and successors to the revolution and teachers of Peihua gathered together to carry out the commemorative activities. The event was hosted by Dongrui, director of the Digital Media Art Department of the College of Arts of Xi’an Arts and Sciences University and deputy director of the Yan’an Red Coin Gallery.
Dr. Jiang Bo, Board Chairman of Shaanxi Red Culture Research Institute and Xi’an Peihua University, delivered a speech, focusing on the history of the university, the red heritage and the history of financial schooling. He hoped to run the Red Finance Museum with the efforts of all parties, nurture talents for the Party and the country, and continue to deepen the education and teaching reform.
Wang Xin, Chairman of Yan’an Bairong Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Director of Yan’an Red Coin Gallery, profoundly explained the great significance of the victory of the war, and pointed out that the development of red finance injected strength into the victory of the war, and said that Yan’an Red Coin Gallery will continue to make efforts to make contribution to the country and society.
Zhao Xiaoming, Director of the Chinese Numismatic Society, former Director of Xi’an Numismatic Museum, senior economist and practitioner of Shaanxi Cultural Art Judicial Appraisal Center, spoke about his personal work experience in financial history research, and he analyzed the nurturing value and social value of building museums in universities from a scholar’s perspective.
After the speech, Zhao donated personal books to Xi’an Peihua University.
Mr. Li Zhongyan, Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Numismatic and Banking Museum Committee, member of the Red Finance Committee of the Chinese Numismatic Society, and member of the Coin Art Committee of the Chinese Numismatic Society, shared the history of the development of red coins during the war, and offered valuable advice for the construction of the Red Coin Art Museum in the light of the actual situation.
In the discussion part, Li Guangming, former Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee and Executive Vice General Manager of Shaanxi Branch of China Eastern Asset Management Co., Zhao Xiaozhou, Vice Chairman of Shaanxi Financial Writers Association and President of Financial Culture Research Institute of Xi’an Peihua University, Han Xin, Director of the Special Committee on Educational Standards of the China Education Development Strategy Society and Director of the Special Committee on Youth Practice Education of the Xi’an Education Society and other scholars expressed and exchanged their opinions on issues like the significance of the victory of the anti-Japanese war, the study of red culture, and the financial history of the new China and the Chinese Communist Party. They made detailed and comprehensive suggestions for the construction of the Red Coin Art Museum of Xi’an Peihua University from aspects of collection of cultural relics, design of exhibition hall and study and practice.
After the symposium, the participants visited the Red Coin Art Museum of Xi’an Peihua University under construction, accompanied by Chairman Jiang Bo.
