On October15, 2022, the 5th National College Student Big Data Skills Competition Shaanxi Provincial Competition (Online Competition) was successfully held. After fierce competition, 4 teams from the School of Intelligent Science and Information Engineering won the second prize at the provincial level, and 2 teams won the third prize at the provincial level. Among them, the top team successfully advanced to the national competition. 

The Big Data Skills Competition comprehensively examines students’ ability to deploy distributed big data, data collection, and data analysis and mining. The three members of the participating team need to cooperate and cooperate closely with each other, and give full play to the advantages of the team to complete the competition task together.

Confidence and effort lead to success. Participating in the National College Student Big Data Skills Competition has stimulated students’ interest in big data skills, created a good atmosphere of “solidifying the foundation, promoting learning through competition, catching up with learning”, and cultivating students’ ability to analyze and solve problems. It is hoped that in the future, more students will actively participate in the competition, unite and cooperate, be brave in innovation, and contribute to the university.
