In order to implement the spirit of the National Education Conference, the Opinions of the State Council on Deepening the Integration of Industry and Education, and the Guidance Opinions of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance of National Development and Reform Commission on Guiding Some Local Ordinary Undergraduate Universities to Transform into Application-oriented Universities, and to promote the innovation of the mechanism of integration of industry and education, strengthen the inner construction of high-level model application-oriented universities, and effectively cultivate high-quality practical talents, the Cooperation and Development Office of Xi’an Peihua University held the “Cross-border Integration” Special Seminar for the Cultivation of Practical Talents through the Integration of Industry and Education & the Seminar on Intention of School-Enterprise Cooperation on November 16th.
On the seminar, Wu Junzheng expressed the warm welcome to the Association of Female Entrepreneurs and all entrepreneurs on behalf of the university. He introduced the history of Xi’an Peihua University’s history featuring with the heritage the revolution spirit, female education and vocational education and the people-oriented and moral-oriented philosophy, hoping to take this meeting as the starting point to deepen the cooperation with the Association of Female Entrepreneurs, promote the connection between various majors of the university and enterprises, and create more opportunities for the training of practical talents and the entrepreneurship and employment of graduates.
Liang Shuyan, Chairman of Xi’an Yanta District Association of Female Entrepreneurs, said that the association will provide all-round support for female entrepreneurship.
Yang Baihuan, Director of Marketing in the School of Accounting and Finance of Xi’an Peihua University, introduced the outstanding performance of Peihua students in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and analyzed the hot spots and pain points of the marketing industry starting from the topic “whether it is right or wrong to listen to parents when choosing majors”, hoping to provide more training opportunities for Peihua students through the mutually beneficial school-enterprise cooperation.
Li Meng, Dean Assistant of Women’s School of Xi’an Peihua University, introduced the development characteristics of the school, which is dedicated to cultivating practical female talents with the awareness of self-esteem, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-improvement, public welfare awareness, international knowledge and perspective and intellectual elegance.
Deng Li, President of Xi’an Qiu Xuehua Professor Gynecological Medicine Hospital, introduced that as the only special medical institution in China specializing in the treatment of unspeakable female diseases, the hospital keeps upholding the concept of first-class service and providing women with remarkable treatment effect. She was also willing to provide internship positions for students of Peihua Medicine School to deepen the cooperation between the two sides.
Li Yajuan, from Shaanxi New Tongfang Auto Maintenance and Repair Service Co., introduced the company’s one-stop auto service, which is significant to the traffic prosperity of Xi’an city.
At the end, Wu Junzheng expressed his hope that Xi’an Peihua University and the enterprises could learn from each other’s strong points to offset the weakness and integrate resources to achieve common development and progress.
This Special Seminar on Cultivation of Practical Talents through Integration of Industry and Education & the Seminar on Intention of School-Enterprise Cooperation facilitated the communication and co-construction between Xi’an Peihua University and the Association of Female Entrepreneurs, and was conducive to the cooperation and resource sharing between the university and enterprises and broadened the training channels and dimensions of talents.
