Recently, the Office of the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education issued the Notice on Announcing the List and Assessment Methods of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Colleges and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Practice Bases of Higher Educational Universities in Shaanxi Province [2022] No. 36, and our university Maker Center passed the self-declaration, after material review, expert review and publicity stages. It was successfully selected into the list of provincial-level innovation and entrepreneurship education practice base construction units and achieved an important breakthrough in the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship platforms.

In recent years, our university has conscientiously implemented the spirit of the Guiding Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Further Supporting College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Several Opinions on Further Strengthening the Work of Practical Education in Colleges and Universities, and put innovation and entrepreneurship at the strategic height of construction and development. Innovation and entrepreneurship work is an important driving force for the reform of talent training mode and the promotion of university transformation and development. Relying on the Maker Center established by the Educational Affairs Management Center of the university-level functional department, by bringing together the diverse resources of the government, enterprises, cooperative units and secondary colleges, it provides relevant teachers and students, innovation and entrepreneurship project teams, graduate entrepreneurs (entrepreneurship alumni) a low-cost, convenient, all-element, open practice space. It has been rated as the provincial-level maker space incubation base of the Science and Technology Department, the municipal-level maker space of the Science and Technology Bureau, and the municipal-level entrepreneurial incubation demonstration base of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. It was successfully selected as a member unit of Shaanxi Science and Technology Business Incubator, the benefits of the platform are becoming increasingly prominent.

In the next step, our university will thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. On the basis of fully implementing the party's education policy and implementing the fundamental task of cultivating people through moral education, we will continue to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship and increase the contribution to the innovation and entrepreneurship of college students. Focus on the construction of "four new" and take the construction of Qin Chuangyuan as an opportunity to promote the integration of inter-professional and inter-disciplinary, fully integrate innovation and entrepreneurship with labor education, ideological and political education, integration of production and education, and transformation of achievements, and further promote Build innovation and entrepreneurship course groups and innovation and entrepreneurship teaching materials, build a team of innovation and entrepreneurship mentors with high professional quality and strong service capabilities, do a good job in the construction of innovation and entrepreneurship practice platforms on campus, continuously improve students' innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities and employment competitiveness, and promote the all-round development of college students to achieve fuller and higher-quality employment for college students.
