On February 15th, Mr. Yang Heping, son of the famous American agricultural experts Yang Zao and Hanchun, known as the “Bethune-style internationalist fighter”, visited Peihua University. Jiang Bo, theChairman of Xi'an Peihua University, arranged the meeting in Mingde Building. A cordial and friendly symposium was held.

Chairman Jiang first extended a warm welcome to the arrival of Mr. Yang Heping and hisfriends, then introduced the profound running history of Peihua, followed by the overview of Peihua’s development. Chairman Jiang also introduced the touching deeds of Peihua’s elder-generation educators who were dedicated to private and women’s education. He said that in the past 95 years, the university has been in the same direction as the country’s reform and construction, and has actively carried out historical research and red culture research. The university shall always insist on serving local industries and economic development, and build an application-oriented university; always invite the descendants of revolutionaries and international friends to come to the school to hold lectures and conduct academic research, so that young students can understand and inherit our history. At last, he expressed his willingness of establishing a deep friendship and strengthening the communication and cooperation between Mr. Yang and the university.

Mr. Yang introduced the history of his parents, Yang Zao and Han Chun, working in China as international friends who supported the Chinese revolution and socialist construction, recalled his life experience in Caotan Farm in Xi'an, and expressed his deep love for China and Xi'an, and the willingness to carry out further cooperation with Xi’an Peihua University.
