The audit and evaluation of undergraduate education and teaching can not only reflect the characteristics of a university, but also effectively test the quality of education and teaching of a university. In order to better meet the undergraduate education teaching audit and evaluation, to show the students of Peihua excellent style of study and energetic spirit, on the afternoon of March 19th, the School of Media and Communication of Xi’ an Peihua University held a class meeting with the theme of “Review, Evaluate, and I Help the University Develop”. Counselors of the school held class meetings on the subject of audit and evaluation at different time periods, explaining to students one by one what students should know in the process of audit and evaluation, so that students could have a deep understanding of the purpose and significance of undergraduate audit and evaluation.
At the class meeting, the counselors told the students about the purpose and significance of undergraduate audit and evaluation. Students were made clearly understand that the audit and evaluation is to take “one fundamental, two highlighting, three strengthening, five degrees” as the common vision and value pursuit. One fundamental is to fully implement the fundamental task of moral composition and educating talent, establish and improve the implementation mechanism of moral composition and educating people, and take the effect of moral composition and educating talent as the fundamental standard for testing all work of the university; Two highlighting is to highlight the “put people first”, to ensure the core position of undergraduate education; Highlight the “four regressions”， guide the school “five education” at the same time to cultivate new people; Three strengthening measures are student-centered, output-oriented and continuous improvement based on student development. Five strengthening measures are the achievement of talent training objectives, the adaptability of social needs, the guarantee of teachers and conditions, the effectiveness of quality assurance operation, and the satisfaction of students and employers.
Concerning managing the individuals, Ms. Li Mengli proposed to correct and check the class style of study, especially for late arrival and early departure, bringing meals, playing mobile phones in class, dozing off, not bringing textbooks, not taking notes and other problems to be firmly eliminated. And support and participate in the construction of civilized dormitory, dormitory internal health inspection and evaluation, to create quality campus life contribution. Call on the students to start from their own, from every day.
Ms. Wang Miaomiao organized and led the students to learn what they should know about audit and evaluation, to know about audit and evaluation knowledge, to know about the development of the university, the secondary college and the profession, and to know about the characteristics of the university, such as the establishment of Jiang Weizhi’s class, the second classroom and academic tutor. After that, student cadres were educated to play a full role of “self-management, self-education, self-service and self-supervision”, and emphasizes the importance of cadres leading students to create a good university spirit and study style to meet the audit and evaluation.
Audit and evaluation is closely related to every student. Audit and evaluation tests not only the university, but also every person in it. This is the common task of all Peihua learners, which requires the efforts of every student, faculty and personnel.
