Good news comes in May. The results of the 2023 National Nurse Qualification Examination have been announced recently, and the passing rate of students of School of Medicine, Xi’an Peihua University, reached 97%. Among them, the passing rate of Class 1901 of Nursing (+Japanese) Major, and Class 1903, 1904 and 1906 of Nursing Major reached 100%.
Such achievement shows that students of Nursing major have good professional knowledge and proficient operating skills.It also proves that Xi’an Peihua University pays close attention to the quality of education and takes multiple measures to help students become qualified nurses. Meanwhile, it greatly strengthens the confidence of the teachers and students in their work and study, and makes the graduates more competitive in hunting jobs and future works.
By means of training examiners, professional contests, and hospital internships, Nursing major of School of Medicine took multiple measures in different aspects to enrich students’ professional knowledge and strengthen their practical skills, so to train more high-quality applied nursing talents for society.
Focus on students’ academic study and strengthen process management. With this idea, Schoof of Medicine adopted the instructing model that involves online learning, counselor supervision, teachers Q&A and cramming pre-exam preparation. School of Medicine took several steps to improve the passing rate of National Nursing qualification Examination: organizing motivation meetings students in the online study group, creating good learning atmosphere by building a beautiful and scholarly campus, and mobilizing all students by both inspiring their confidence and urging them to work hard.

Strengthens the study of professional knowledge. School of Medicine strengthened students’ learning of the professional knowledge and consolidated their skills through teaching, contests, and hospital internships. Besides, School of Medicine organized training sessions to help students plan the exam-preparation, find their weakness and consolidate professional knowledge. Optimize learning methods. Ms. Yue Huijuan, a teacher of Nursing major, shared her preparing experiences for the examination, such as memorization by comparison, induction and summarization, diagnostic method, etc. By consolidating the memorization of sample test and guiding the students to gradually participate in answering the questions, she improved the students’ learning interest and motivation. She also introduced the exam points in detail and error-prone points of the text test questions, picture test questions and video test questions.

The passing rate of the National Nursing Qualification Examination is an important indicator of the quality of education and teaching in the Nursing major, as well as a prerequisite for improving the employment rate of Nursing majors.
