In order to carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture and promote the construction of network civilization in colleges and universities, on June 19, the 2023“Online China Festival·Dragon Boat Festival”cultural on-campus event hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of Shaanxi Provincial Committee was held in the school’s Weizhi Library. “Dragon Boat Festival Folk Knowledge Contest”,“Meeting FriendswithPoetry”- Dragon Boat Festival Folklore“Fei Hua Ling”, Fun Rice DumplingWrappingRace, students fully demonstrated the poetry and profundity of traditional culture in the form of“cultural adventure”.

At the Fun Rice Dumpling Wrapping Race, the contestants worked in pairs, holding Zongzi leaves in their left hands and adding glutinous ricewiththeir right hands, making Zongzi quickly and carefully. They werejoyfullychasing after each other.

Performances such aspoetry recitation“Qu Yuan Fu”and the dance“Hua Yi Jian”allowed traditional culture and festival folk customs tocombine, giving off new tension and aura.

At the“Dragon Boat Festival Garden Party”, participating guests and students experienced more than ten exciting cultural activities such as making rice dumplings, dry land dragon boat racing, pot throwing, sachet weaving, and lion dance, allowing students to actively participate in promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture, andexperience the cultural confidence contained in traditional festivals with heart and soul.

Participantscompeted inDragonBoatRacesgrouped in terms ofcolleges. A group of ten worked together to push the atmosphere of the garden party to a climax withloud cheers. Teachers and students actively participated and enthusiastically created a relaxed and happy festival atmosphere.

During this Dragon Boat Festival, the“one-stop”student community also launched a series of Dragon Boat Festival activities called“Love Dragon Boat Festival, Wonderful Community”. Students made sachets, painted round fans, threw pots, and shot“five poisons”together. While experiencing the traditional festival customs,they also enhancedtheir sense of communityand enjoyedagood time.

The students depictedthe beauty of the world, prayedfor good health during the Dragon Boat Festival, and skillfully drew exquisite round fans. Midsummer is full of eleganceand fun, and the fragrance of Ay Tsao welcomes the Dragon Boat Festival. The students sittogether,makingsachets with their skilledhands.

This activity inheritedfolk culture silently and enhancesthecultural confidence. At the same time, it creates a warm, beautiful, and harmonious educational environment in the“one-stop”student community, guiding students to integrate knowledge and action, strengthen labor education, and enhance their ideals and beliefs.
