On April 29th, the Establishment Conference of the China Association for Standardization's Home Furnishings and Building Materials Quality Committee (CAS Home Furnishings and Building Materials Quality Committee) was held in Hangzhou.

The Chairman of the Board of XPHU and Director of CAS Home Furnishings and Building Materials Quality Committee, Jiang Bo, Delivered a Speech.

 Jiang Bo said that the Committee will prioritize the development and issuance of group standards, quality inspection and certification of home furnishings and building materials, as well as standardization talent training. By establishing a platform to integrate resources across the industry's value chain, the Committee aims to enhance corporate competitiveness through standardization, foster enterprise innovation, and facilitate high-quality development within the home furnishings and building materials sector.

It is reported that the CAS Home Furnishings and Building Materials Quality Committee primarily engages in standard formulation and revision, academic exchanges, technical consultations, popular science education and research projects within the realm of home furnishing and building material quality, both domestically and internationally. The Secretariat of the Committee is headquartered at the China Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd. During this conference, the Committee also initiated the development of a group standard for product quality grading evaluation, launched a training program for standard drafting and review personnel, and embarked upon the 2024 Home Decoration Industry Consumer Brand Survey Report project.
