On the morning of May 24, the 2024 China Roliball Open (Guangyuan Zhaohua Station) commenced at the Aoyuan Sports and Cultural Center in Guangyuan City. The Xi’an Peihua University Roliball team won the second place in both the Youth B Group (Category A) collective compulsory routine and the collective self-choreographed routine competitions. This was the university’s first participation in the China Roliball Open, with the team coached by Zhang Zhantao and comprising eight male students from the School of Physical Education.

The event was organized by the Social Guidance Center of the General Administration of Sport of China and the National Fitness Activity Promotion and Guidance Committee, and hosted by the National Roliball Promotion Committee, the Sichuan Provincial Social Sports Guidance Center, the Guangyuan Sports Bureau, and the Guangyuan Zhaohua District People’s Government. A total of 40 teams from across the country, comprising 351 athletes, coaches, and team leaders, participated in the competition.
