On April 29, Xi’an Peihua University’s Alumni Services and Development Center, in collaboration with the School of Media and Design, held the “Hengliang Scholarship” donation ceremony at the Duxing Community on the Chang’an campus. Attendees included Wang Fei, Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy Dean of Administration of the School of Media and Design; Nan Binhong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Media and Design; Wang Wei, Head of the Peihua Alumni Association; Qiao An, Alumni Liaison for the School of Media and Design; Jian Qiang, Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee of the School of Media and Design; 2013 alumnus Liu Zhenzhi, General Manager of Shaanxi Miertiancheng E-Commerce Co., Ltd.; Wang Yunhe and Hang Dan, Deputy General Managers of Shaanxi Miertiancheng E-Commerce Co., Ltd. , and over 20 student representatives. The donation ceremony was hosted by Cui Fei, Student Affairs Officer of the School of Media and Design.
Dean Wang Fei first expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the alumni’s generosity. He provided a detailed introduction to the School of Media and Design, highlighting the strengths of its faculty and student resources, the future development plans, and the school’s distinctive features and outstanding achievements in recent years.
Alumnus Liu Zhenzhi introduced the main business operations, development prospects, and talent needs of Shaanxi Miertiancheng E-commerce Co., Ltd. He emphasized that, based on the development blueprint and educational philosophy of his alma mater, the company will continuously seek areas of business alignment. By focusing on the cultivation of application-oriented talents and establishing industry standards, they aim to work diligently and collaboratively.
Subsequently, Dean Wang Fei, on behalf of the Xi’an Peihua Public Welfare and Charity Foundation, signed the donation agreement with alumnus Liu Zhenzhi. Teacher Wang Wei presented Liu with a donation certificate. Additionally, the academy appointed Liu Zhenzhi as a Growth Mentor for the Duxing Community.
After the ceremony, the leaders of the School of Media and Design accompanied alumnus Liu Zhenzhi and his party to the Academic Exchange Center to visit the student graduation design exhibition. They provided detailed explanations of the students’ creative concepts and techniques. Alumnus Liu Zhenzhi highly praised and recognized the students’ creativity and talent. He also expressed his eagerness to offer more opportunities for display and exchange from the perspectives of an alumnus entrepreneur and growth mentor.
With the determination to overcome all challenges and the hope for a bright future, Peihua Alumni Association will continue to serve as a bridge, promoting innovation in education across all schools and strengthening connections between faculty, students, and the broader society. The goal is to enhance the university’s influence, cohesion, and appeal. The association aims to tailor strategies for each school, establishing high-quality scholarships to support students, reward teachers, assist alumni, and aid in the development and construction of the schools. This contribution of “alumni strength” will be pivotal in driving our university’s high-quality development.
