In order to implement the action of infiltration of aesthetic education and enrich the cultural life of the campus, on June 18th, "Salon of Music and Art in Commemoration of the 190th Anniversary of the Birth of Brahms - Xie Hanchen Piano Recital" was held in Hengyou Building, which was co-sponsored by Xi'an Art Education Society and Xi'an Piano Association, and hosted by Art Education Centre of Xi'an Peihua College. "The concert was beautifully staged in Hengyou Building, and Liu Rongdi, Director of the Art Education Centre of XPHU, presided over the concert.

Professor Shi Jiangyue of Xi'an Conservatory of Music introduced Brahms' biography and some of his piano works from various periods, shared several of Brahms' piano works and interpreted them.

Brahms' music has both rigorous structure and form, as well as rich emotions and colours; the simplicity and freshness of German folk songs, as well as the passion and vitality of Hungarian dance music; the reflection and exploration of life, as well as the desire and pursuit of love. With a powerful rhythm ofNarrative No. 4 in B major, the concert was officially opened, a classic masterpiece nourished the audience's heart, especially young performer Xie Hanchen's unique flavour of the wonderful performance, so that everyone was immersed in the unique melody and harmony of the charm.
