On 15 June, the opening ceremony of the 2024 graduation work exhibition of School of Communication and Designof XPHUand the clothing dynamic exhibition activities kicked off in Longhu Xi'an Daxing Xingyuehui. This graduation design exhibition, with the theme of "FlourishingFlowers", continued to bloom for one month from June 15 to July 15, presenting more than 100 works of four majors of the School of Media and Design, with an exhibition area of more than 400 square metres throughout the shopping mall, covering environmental design, visual communication design, arts and crafts and clothing and costume design in many fields, fully demonstrating theschool's fine arts majors' talents in the field of art.
Guests from many universities such as Shaanxi Normal University, Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology, Xi'an University of Science and Technology, Xi'an International Studies University, Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, Xi'an Jiaotong University City College, Xi'an Eurasian University and other colleges and universities, as well as guests from various industries and enterprises such as He Xingwen, Chairman of the Shaanxi Arts and Crafts Association, Cui Wei, President of the Shaanxi Women's Handicrafts Association, and Yang Fan, Secretary-General of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Sub-committee of the Shaanxi Tourism Association. Jiang Bo delivered the opening speech. He thanked Longhu Daxing Xingyuehui for its great support to this graduation design exhibition. He said that Xi'an Peihua University, as the oldest private university in China, has always been focusing on the direction of private higher education to start cultivating practical art and practical talents for many years. Thanks to the love from all walks of life and relying on the strong support from brother colleges and universities as well as various industry associations, Peihua has maintained a good growth trend from the quality of student source, the quality of cultivation to the quality of employment. He hoped that through the cooperation of all parties, the inheritance and development of art in innovation, so that the cultivation of practical talents can be put into practice, so that private education and private economy will be more colourful.
On behalf of Longhu Commercial, Wang Huancheng warmly welcomed the guests who came from afar. He suggested that this graduation exhibition is not only a feast of art, but also a deep practice of school-enterprise cooperation and industry-academia integration for a long time. In the future, LonghuCommercial will continue to explore the new mode of school-enterprise cooperation with Xi'an Peihua University, to jointly create more innovative and practical teaching projects, and to provide more opportunities for students to practice and exercise.
