Recently, the 6th“Reciting China”Chinese Classics Recitation, Writing, and Interpretation Competition, organized by the Ministry of Education and the National Language Commission, successfully concluded. Since its launch in April this year, the competition has attracted numerous participants from across the country. After provincial-level selections and expert evaluations, 4,160 entries across eight categories advanced to the national semifinals, 2,022 entries entered the finals, and 270 entries were invited to compete offline. Ultimately, two faculty members from the School of Media and Design at Xi’an Peihua University achieved outstanding results: Teacher Hei Mengqi’s entry,Mother’s Love, won the National Second Prize, and Teacher Chen Xue’s entry,If There Were No Li Bai, won the National Third Prize.

The faculty members from the School of Media and Design showcased their solid recitation skills and profound emotional understanding, successfully bringing out the essence and depth of classic texts. Their performances earned high praise from the judges.
These awards not only affirmedthe professional abilities of the individual teachers but also servedas encouragement for the university’s teaching efforts and cultural preservation initiatives.
