Recently, the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology officially released the list of approved projects for the 2025 Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Plan. According tothe Notice of Shaanxi Provincial Department of Finance on Allocating Special Funds for the 2025 Provincial Science and Technology Plan (Third Batch), Xi’an Peihua University secured approval for 6 provincial-level scientific research projects, with a total funding of 360,000 yuan.This achievement marks ahistoric breakthrough, as both the number of approved projects and the total funding reached afive-year high, demonstrating the university’s enhancedscientific research and innovation capabilities.
The approved projects in this batch cover key R&D programs and basic research initiatives in natural sciences. Among them, two key agricultural and rural development projects—led by Dr. Xing Yukun from the School of Intelligent Science and Engineering and Professor Yuan Hong from the School of Medicine—have each secured 80,000 yuan in funding.Dr. Xing’s project focuses on“High-Quality Livestock Breeding and Propagation Technologies”,while Prof. Yuan’s research delves into“Probiotic Resource Exploration and Key Technologies in Fermented Beverage Production”.The implementation of these projects is expected to drive critical technological advancements in support of China’s rural revitalization strategy.
The approved projects also include several research initiatives, each receiving 50,000 yuan in funding. Professor Fang Huanle leads research on“Network Pharmacology and Molecular Docking Technology”, while Professor Wang Qiaofeng focuses on a“Mitochondria-Targeted‘Fishing Hook’Strategy”.Associate Professor Liu Zhaona is developing“Enzyme Electrochemical Sensing Technology Based on Quinone Mediators”,and Dr. Bi Fangfang is working on“Vivo Gene Silencing and Overexpression Technology”.The successful approval of these cutting-edgeprojects demonstrate the university’s profound expertise and remarkable achievements in fundamental medical research.
