To further advance the digital transformation of education, explore paths for the in-depth integration of artificial intelligence and teaching, and facilitate the high-quality development of educational internationalization, the Seminar on AI-enabled Educational Model Transformation and Digital Education Innovation, together with the Election Conference of the Special Committee for International Educational Digitalization under the China Association for Educational Technology (CAET), was held at the Chang’an Campus of Xi’an Peihua University from May 25 to 26, 2026. Hosted by CAET and undertaken by Xi’an Peihua University, the conference focused on topics including the international development of education, the international communication of Chinese civilization, AI-enabled education, and the digital transformation of private universities. It brought together university experts, scholars, and representatives of educational technology enterprises to jointly explore the path of high-quality education development in the new era.

On the morning of May 25, the conference was officially opened in the lecture hall of Mingde Building. Jiang Yingchu, Secretary-General of the Board of Directors and Vice President of Xi’an Peihua University, extended warm congratulations on the convening of the conference. Professor Gao Yan from Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, analyzed innovative thinking and practical experience in international education. Professor Zhan Junsan from Wuhan Donghu University interpreted the digital transformation strategy of private universities based on the resource-based view. Professor Lu Yang, Executive Vice President of Arden University in the UK, expounded on cutting-edge concepts of AI-enabled digital education and international development, guided by wisdom and innovation.

On the afternoon of the same day, the brainstorming seminar was held in the second conference room of Mingde Building. Moderated by Professor Lu Yang, participating experts conducted in-depth exchanges on topics including the digital transformation of private universities, the innovative model of OGOET education, AI empowerment for private education, and digital humanities construction. Dr. Liu Xin from Guangzhou International Economics College, Dr. Xu Jiangyan from Hubei Health Vocational College, Dr. Shi Shengpeng from the University of Cambridge, Deputy Director Hu Bo from the Informatization and Data Governance Center of Xi’an Peihua University, Professor Qiao Fang, Vice Dean of the School of Liberal Arts in charge of teaching, research and industry-university-research cooperation, and General Manager Wang Jun from Xi’an Tianhai Xingchen Technology Co., Ltd. delivered speeches in turn, sharing cutting-edge insights and practical achievements, and providing diversified ideas and feasible solutions for the digital transformation of private education.
On the morning of May 26, the AI-Enabled Young Scholars Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum was held. Professor Lu Yang, Executive Vice President of Arden University, delivered a keynote speech entitled Opportunities and Challenges of AI-enabled Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship for College Students in the Digital Age. Yumei, Chair Scholar of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior and MBA Program Director of Bournemouth University, UK, and Vincenct Marmion, Lecturer of Leadership and Change at the Business School of Bournemouth University, shared experience in global competence cultivation from the perspective of AACSB accreditation. The innovation and entrepreneurship sharing session for Chinese and British young scholars was moderated by Wang Nan, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Teaching and Research Office of the Future Industry College / Pangu Innovation and Entrepreneurship College. Chinese and British young scholars conducted in-depth dialogues at the forum, sparking exchanges of innovative ideas.

In the afternoon, the election and inaugural meeting of the CAET-CDIE Special Committee for International Educational Digitalization was successfully held. The election of positions including members, standing committee members, director, deputy directors, and secretary-general was completed in sequence, marking the official establishment of the Special Committee for International Educational Digitalization under the China Association for Educational Technology.

Professor Lu Yang delivered a concluding speech, in which she comprehensively introduced the 2026 Sino-UK Digital Education Innovation Forum of the University of Cambridge, including its background, core topics and cooperation directions. The introduction has built a new platform for Sino-UK digital education exchanges, drawing a successful conclusion to the conference.
This two-day conference integrated academic seminars, idea exchanges, achievement sharing, organizational establishment, and international forum release. Closely focusing on the core themes of AI empowerment, digital innovation and educational internationalization, it has built consensus among domestic and international education communities, and formed a series of forward-looking and practical viewpoints and solutions.
