Visiting Professor at Xi'an Peihua University. Senior Director of Global Data Insight and Analytics (GDI&A) at Ford Motor Company, USA, and Lecturer in the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan. He holds a Ph.D. from the Institute of Informatics and Automation of the Russian Academy of Sciences in St. Petersburg and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. With over twenty years of service at Ford, he has led data and machine learning teams in manufacturing, supply chain, and connected vehicles, driving the implementation of advanced connected analytics and smart manufacturing control systems, resulting in more than 100 patented innovations. In 2023, he was elected an IEEE Fellow for his outstanding contributions to the fields of connected vehicles and cyber-physical systems. He is also a Fellow of INFORMS and AAIA. Dr. Gusikhin has made significant achievements in the fields of control and automation robotics, with over 100 published papers covering areas such as electric vehicle energy consumption simulation, process mining, and manufacturing execution systems.
