8. Admission Requirements

(1) Academic Requirements

a. MBA: A bachelor's degree in any discipline, with a minimum requirement of a lower second-class (2:2) honors degree or equivalent.

b. Other Business Programs: A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized institution, with a minimum requirement of a lower second-class (2:2) honors degree or equivalent. Additionally, a Level 7 BTEC Extended Diploma (Strategic Management and Leadership) with no failing grades is accepted.

(2) Language Requirements

a. For Master's Programs: An overall IELTS score of 6.0, with no less than 6.0 in writing, speaking, reading, and listening (or an equivalent recognized qualification). If you do not meet the academic English language requirements for your chosen program, you may need to take a pre-sessional English course.

b. The length of the pre-sessional English course depends on your current English proficiency and the requirements of your chosen degree program. We offer 5-week and 10-week pre-sessional English courses.

9. Required Documents for Admission

(1) Bachelor's graduation certificate (in both Chinese and English) and bachelor's degree certificate (in both Chinese and English) or equivalent academic qualifications.

(2) IELTS score report, scanned copy of the original.

(3) Original passport valid for at least two years from the date of admission.

10. Degree Award

(1) Upon completing the required credits and successfully defending the thesis/dissertation, students will be awarded a degree certificate by the University of East London.

(2) The degree is internationally recognized. Graduates can have their qualifications authenticated by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) upon returning to China and enjoy the benefits available to returning overseas students.
