Jiang Bo, President of Xi'an Peihua University, said in his speech that Xi'an Peihua University has had the red gene since the establishment, and has been always incorporating the spirit of patriotism into educational work. He hoped that through this red theme educational activities, students would be influenced and learned Party history and national history seriously. He also hoped that the great cause of socialist construction would be passed on, and people of Peihua would remain true to original aspiration and take the responsibilities to become qualified socialist successors.

Zhang Xingxing, a CPPCC member and secretary general of the National History of the People's Republic of China Association, said that the grand ceremony held in Peihua was an important measure to thoroughly implement the patriotic education plan of Party Central Committee, and was also a major event for Peihua University. Since the ceremony, students would be accompanied by the red flag and bathed in the sunshine of the Party and the country, which inspired Peihua students to be patriotic, study hard, strive to be great, and become builders and successors of the motherland!

Luo Kanchun, secondary inspector of Shaanxi Provincial Education Committee and Shaanxi Provincial Department of Education, said in his speech that Xi’an Peihua University, as an outstanding representative of private universities, showed patriotic enthusiasm of students and vigorous school-running vitality from the event. The red flag helped Xi’an Peihua University to be on a patriotic educational position. For patriotic education in Shaanxi Province, it had a glorious mission and great significance that it opened up a new position and enriched new content. It was also the sparkling point of private education system of Shaanxi Province to carry out Party history education; more importantly, it was the pride of Peihua's teachers and students.
