On June 18, 2021, the great communication of Party history learning and sharing for Shaanxi women was held in the lecture hall of Weizhi library in Xi'an Peihua University, which was sponsored by Shaanxi Women's Federation and undertaken by the Committee of Xi'an Peihua University. List of attendees included Gong Xiaoyan, secretary and chairman of Provincial Women’s Federation Party Group; Wen Lin, member and vice chairman of Provincial Women’s Federation Party Group; Zhao Yong, director of Provincial Women’s Federation Publicity Department; An Jing, deputy director of Provincial Women’s Federation Publicity Department; Jiang Bo, President of Xi’an Peihua University; Luo Xinyuan, Secretary of Xi’an Peihua University Party; Liu Yuelian, Chairman of the Academic Committee and Vice President of Xi’an Peihua University; Wang Peng, Director of the International Exchange Center of Xi’an Peihua University and Executive Vice Dean of Women’s School; Vice Dean of Women’s School of Xi’an Peihua University; and more than 500 representatives of teachers and students. Welcome speech from Jiang Bo
Jiang Bo introduced the historical development of the school for 93 years and its contribution to women’s education. He said that adhering to the schooling philosophy of “people oriented, morality first”, Peihua remained true to our original aspiration and explored further improvements, which has gone through the historical process of women’s liberation, women's independence, and women's vocational education. As Jiang Bo said, Peihua would continue the school-running characteristics of women's education with the support and help of women's federations at all levels. Meanwhile, the school would encourage students to hone themselves, become qualified builders and successors of the socialist cause, and create their beautiful life under the educational environment of women's higher education, quality education and gender education.
Speech from Gong Xiaoyan, secretary and chairman of Provincial Women’s Federation Party Group
Gong Xiaoyan, secretary and chairman of the Provincial Women’s Federation Party, praised Xi’an Peihua University for the support for this event. She said that since the launch of party history education, the Provincial Women’s Federation has actively played the role of the "Shaanxi Women's Publicity Group" at all levels based on the educational activity of "females have put their hearts and souls into the Party and strive for a new journey". By using easy-to-understand language and multiple forms in the publicity, women absorbed the power of truth, belief, and effort. It also helped to spread the Party's voice widely to the public, and promote the education of “four histories” (the histories of the Party, New China, the reform and opening-up, and socialist development) to achieve practical results.
In the event, Chen Ruoxing, a woman pace-setter and national moral model, described the touching deeds of Li Dazhao who was the founder of the Communist Party of China and his wife Zhao Renlan, based on the theme of "The Glory of Women in the History of the Party". Zhu Bai, a woman pace-setter, secretary of the Party branch and deputy director of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University, shared the story of Shaanxi female medical workers fighting against time and the epidemic for saving patients’ lives at the epidemic crisis.
Liu Yan, a cadre of Characteristic Industry Development Center in Lantian County and secretary-general of Female College Student Entrepreneurship Alliance in Xi’an, gave a report entitled "The Perseverance and Dream of a College Student Village Officer". She shared her experiences of becoming the secretary of village Party branch from the secretary assistant of the village Party branch; becoming the director of the Civil Affairs Office from the cadre of poverty alleviation. Also, she described how she turned the dream of leading the villagers out of poverty. Lin Hongmei, chairman of Ziyang Sunshine Technology Co., Ltd. and advanced young individual in Shaanxi of taking the national lead in getting rich and leading the masses to get rich together, shared her experiences based on the theme of “Women’s Dream”. She talked about the process of creating Ziyang model and building a platform to develop new products on the way of leading farmers and the countryside to become rich.
