To further enhance the integration of industry development and education, a signing ceremony of strategic cooperation between Xi’an Peihua University and Shaanxi Radio Film and Television Association and the opening ceremony of the training base was held at 10:00 a.m. on October 19th in the first conference room of Mingde Building of Xi’an Peihua University.
Chairman of Shaanxi Radio Film and Television Association Tong Hongjun, Secretary General of the Association Chen Jie, Director of the Office Wang Donghong, Director of the Training Center and Deputy Director of the Office Wang Ruibing, Deputy Director of the Training Center Zhou Jie, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Xi’an Peihua University Jiang Bo, Assistant to the Chairman Qin Haifeng, Director of School of Media and Communication Du Yaofeng, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of Administration of School of Media Jiang Junrui,Vice Director Zhang Ronghua, and Vice Director for Industry-university-research Cooperation Chen Xiaoyi, attended the signing ceremony, and Executive Vice Director of School of Media Wang Xiya presided over the meeting.
At the signing ceremony, Chairman Jiang Bo extended a warm welcome to the guests and introduced in detail the university’s policy, talent training model, industry-university-research cooperation. He stressed that the signing was just the beginning of cooperation and hoped that both sides would carry out comprehensive and multi-level strategic cooperation in talent training and cultural inheritance, so that students could “really learn and practice and master useful skills” and promote the training of applied practical talents, and finally the two sides would form a high-quality development situation of integrating, sharing, opening up and cooperating.
Chairman of Shaanxi Provincial Radio Film and Television Association Tong Hongjun pointed out that win-win cooperation was the crucial in the network era, and after achieving the first step of cooperation establishment, both sides had to continue to promote and deepen their cooperation, dock with the market through theoretical research and academic development, and to enter the international stage with the Road and Belt Initiative. He said that this cooperation marks a new step in the common cause of both sides.
Du Yaofeng, Director of School of Media and Communication, called the strategic cooperation a real “strong alliance”, which provided a high-quality platform for the team construction of dual-qualification teachers, introduced more talents and effectively solved the key problems in teacher development. He also said that School of Media and Communication was obliged to take up the important responsibility and seek common development in the cooperation.
Afterwards, representatives from both sides signed a strategic cooperation agreement and an agreement on the development of fusion media industry and network audiovisual projects, and unveiled the training base and internship base for this strategic cooperation.
Xi’an Peihua University was awarded the title of Vice Chairman Organization of Shaanxi Radio Film and Television Association
Shaanxi Radio Film and Television Association, established in April 1991, is a social organization which is registered in accordance with the law and has independent legal personality, and is a non-profit social group which consists of the province’s radio, film and television organizations and practitioners of the industry, and is the bridge and bond which unite and connect the province’s radio, film and television workers.
