Recently, the Shaanxi Provincial Federation of Trade Unions and Education Department of Shaanxi provincial Government issued the Notice on the Announcement of the Results of the Fifth Teaching Competition for Young Teachers in Shaanxi Universities. Among them, Hu Yawei, a teacher from the School of Intelligent Science and Information Engineering of Xi'an Peihua University, won the first prize in the Engineering Group, Guo Shujun, a teacher from the School of Humanities and International Education, won the third prize in the Liberal Arts Group, and Wei Qi, a medical teacher, was awarded the third prize in the Medical Group.

A total of 116 teachers from colleges and universities in the province competed in the competition, which required teachers to submit 16 hours of teaching design plans and teaching demonstration documents, and to submit teaching reflection materials within 45 minutes after the end of the classroom teaching. It is not easy for the three participating teachers to win prizes under high pressure and intensity. The breakthrough of the first prize is also the highest achievement of Xi'an Peihua University among its counterparts in Shaanxi Province since the competition was held in 2012.
