On the afternoon of September 19th, Dr. Frank, the founder and general manager of the Orange Talent Group in Germany and the principal of the German Orange Talent Nursing School, Dr. Ren Tong, the Asian business director of the German Orange Talent Company, Li Yang, the head of the China Training Department of the Sino-German Nursing Project, and other guests came to Peihua University for an exchange visit and held a briefing session on the nurse funding project in Germany for nursing students. Liu Yuelian, vice president of Peihua; Hu Guodong, executive vice dean of the School of Medicine; Wang Juning, vice dean of the School of Medicine, Li Anqi, deputy director of the Nursing Department of the School of Medicine, and key teachers of the Nursing Department attended the symposium. The meeting was chaired by Wang Peng, director of the International Exchange Center.
On behalf of the teachers and students of Xi’an Peihua University, Vice President Liu Yuelian welcomed the arrival of Dr. Frank and his delegation from the Orange Talent Nursing School. She introduced the school’s development history, school positioning and the work carried out by our school in Sino-foreign exchanges and cooperation. She pointed out that as an applied private university, Xi’an Peihua University attaches great importance to international development and the cultivation of students’ comprehensive abilities. She hopes to have more cooperation with the Orange Talent Nursing School in cultivating applied talents.
Dr. Frank, the principal of Orange Talent Nursing School, and Dr. Ren Tong, the Asian business director of Orange Talent Company, delivered speeches respectively. They introduced the current situation of the German nursing industry, funding projects for nurses in Germany and application conditions. Dr. Frank and Dr. Ren Tong said that China and Germany have many similarities, especially in terms of improving the quality of education, both of which aim to help young people obtain more employment opportunities and achieve better results. Orange Talent Nursing School’s Nurses in Germany Funding Project selects nursing graduates, who have certain foreign language skills, are willing to accept challenges, and are interested in working in Germany. Those who meet the application conditions will be provided with full funding and training for entering Germany hospitals.
Hu Guodong, executive deputy dean of the School of Medicine of our university, introduced the training direction and main courses of the nursing major, as well as the internship and employment situation and qualification certificate examination of nursing students.
After the discussion, Dr. Frank and his delegation visited the School of Medicine and communicated face-to-face with nursing students. He introduced the project background, application requirements, salary and benefits of the fully funded nurse program in Germany to the students, and answered their questions.
