In order to promote the development of preschool education majors and demonstrate students’ art education and teaching abilities, on October 27th, the event “Use Dreams as Horses, Live Up to the Time” hosted by the School of Humanities and International Education was organized to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of Peihua School, and the teaching achievements exhibition of Preschool Education was held in Gewu Building. Jiang Bo, chairman of Xi’an Peihua University; Luo Xinyuan, secretary of the Party Committee of Peihua; Liu Yuelian and Yao Wenjing, vice presidents of Peihua, as well as other school leaders attended the exhibition and praised the students’ creativity.
The clay work with the theme of “Blooming Flowers and Prosperity” created by Liu Siqi’s team was presented to Chairman Jiang Bo as a gift to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of Peihua School. It means that “the ambition will expand and the glory will continue”, and he wishes the school to make greater progress on its journey towards a century.
In this achievements exhibition, the Preschool Education major selected outstanding student works for display. The works brought together various art forms, such as paper art, fabric art, wood art, clay art, and comprehensive materials, and presented types of works such as children’s picture books, creative teaching toys and tools, and comprehensive handicrafts. The theme of the exhibition was in line with the theme of the times and the characteristics of Preschool Education. It was playful, educational, aesthetic and innovative. It embodied the innovative ideas and design concepts of the instructors and students, and demonstrated the students’ professionalism and mission and their deep understanding of responsibility.
This exhibition of works was not only a test of the teaching achievements of art education in the Preschool Education major, but also an important achievement for the college to deepen the teaching reform, grasp the direction of education, and build a high-quality preschool education system.
