On October 28th, the Academic Symposium Commemorating the 85th Anniversary of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Sixth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the “Red Currency” Exhibition were held at Chang’ran Campus of Xi’an Peihua University. Representatives of relatives of revolutionary predecessors in Shaanxi, experts and scholars from social sciences, higher education institutions, and representatives of enterprises and institutions attended the meeting. More than 200 representatives of teachers and students, including Jiang Bo, chairman of Shaanxi Revolutionary Culture Research Institute and chairman of Xi’an Peihua University, and Luo Xinyuan, secretary of the Party Committee, were presence at the meeting.
This academic symposium was guided by China Yan’an Spirit Research Association, sponsored by Shaanxi Yan’an Spirit Research Association, the Research Society for the History of the Revolutionary Bases of Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia in Shaanxi Province, Yan’an Luyi Culture Center, Shaanxi CPC Party History Characters Research Association, Shaanxi Industrial Cooperation Association, and hosted by Xi’an Peihua University, Shaanxi Revolutionary Culture Research Institute, and Yan’an Bairong Exhibition Co. The conference aimed to deeply study and implement the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress, carry forward and practice Yan’an Spirit, eulogize Mao Zedong Thoughts and their present value, pass on the revolutionary tradition, promote educating people with the Party’s history, offer advice and suggestions for the high-quality development of Shaanxi, and contribute wisdom and strength to the strengthening of the Party’s construction in the new era. The meeting was divided into opening session, forum session and study tour session. At the opening ceremony, the leaders of the conference pressed the start button to announce the official opening of the “Red Currency” Exhibition of Xi’an Peihua University.

Mr. Jiang Bo, chairman of Xi’an Peihua University, delivered a welcome speech at the symposium, saying that the Sixth Plenary Session of the Sixth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) was a meeting of great historical significance in the history of the CPC, which established the principle of independence and autonomy of the CPC in the united front, further consolidated the leadership of Mao Zedong in the whole party, and put forward the great proposition and important task of “the Chineseization of Marxism” distinctly for the first time, and it was a major historical event that decided the fate of China. Today, experts and scholars from all walks of life commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Sixth Plenary Session of the Sixth Central Committee in the form of academic seminars, which is not only a vivid embodiment of the Party’s history to educate people, but also an important tool in carrying out the ideological and political education of college students in the new era. Xi’an Peihua University is a private university with a profound revolutionary tradition, and the university has constantly expanded the form and explored a new mode of ideological and political education through the introduction of revolutionary culture into the campus, the descendants of the revolutionary predecessors speaking about the family values, and the establishment of revolutionary educational bases. Professor Wang Xiaorong of Shaanxi Normal University, executive vice president of the Research Society for the History of the Revolutionary Bases of Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia in Shaanxi Province, presided over the keynote speech.

Prof. Bi Yuanning, executive vice president of Research Society for the History of the Revolutionary Bases of Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia in Shaanxi Province and Professor of the Party School of the Provincial Party Committee of Shaanxi, made a summary review.
After the academic symposium, the unveiling ceremony of Xi’an Peihua University “Red Currency” Exhibition Hall and Xi’an PeihuaUniversity Patriotism Education Base was held. Mr. Zhao Xiaoming, director of Chinese Numismatic Society, professional director of People’s Bank of China Literature Association, member of “Red Finance” Special Committee of Chinese Numismatic Society, member of X’an Federation of Social Sciences Circles, consultant of Xi’an Local Finance Association, director of X’an Numismatic Museum, and senior economist, led the tour and gave introduction. “Red Currency” is an important carrier for spreading the “red financial culture” and an important way to publicize the “red spirit”.
